It happens like 20 minutes in, and there are numerous references to the fact it's Christmas, like the whole reason he went to LA in the first place, the Christmas party that gets interrupted. Pretty major "plot" points.

The Xmas party could’ve been a wedding, bday party, retirement party, or whatever

And he could’ve went out there just to see his kids bc he missed them

ALL the Xmas parts of that movie are incidental,
and NOT AT ALL important to the plot

The changes i suggest would result in the same movie

I love my Bills and Sabres as much as the next guy, but if the first few months of Covid-lockdown taught me anything, it was that I didn't miss sports as much as I thought I would and I realized how overblown it all is.

The Roman Empire and it's coliseums are falling... And I fear that future generations may be looking back at the ruins of these buildings much like we do to the relics of the past.

We don't need professional sports. I love them, but we do not need them.
