Christmas should be every 4 years like the Olympics. Christmas should also be January 25th so it's not so close to Thanksgiving. Also there would be less time between Christmas and the beginning of spring. Implementing even one of these plans would drastically improve Christmas. Thank you for your time

Bitcoin is right around 19k right now, which is not too far below its all-time high. If it pulls back to 12 or 13k within the next month or so, it will likely skyrocket, just like it did 4 and 8 years ago. If that happens, there is no way you can convince me someone isn't pulling strings behind the scenes.

My girlfriends birthday is also on Christmas. She’s also turning 25 this year so it’s her champagne birthday.

Safe to say I’ll be out a couple grand next month.

I guess it depends on your views on technical analysis. I use both technical and fundamental analysis. In 2017 it was way too overbought and merely speculative in nature and went up way too quickly based on really nothing. This time around it’s much more of a slow grind and being picked up by institutional players and more fundamentally sound (same basis as commodities as it’s an inflation/currency hedge)

Consolidations are healthy though in a bull market. It’s usually best to not chase and wait for it to pull back to the 50 day or 200 day average prices as long as it’s in a clear uptrend.

That’s why I’ve held my commodity portfolio despite it going down roughly 20% since July. I sold a few at the top to free up some cash and averaged down on a few of my core holdings to get a lower ACB to get ready for the next up leg (at least I hope).

Guys, what do you think Trump's strategy is in regards to the election results ? Everything he's tried so far has been kind of a reach and he's lost all the lawsuits so far, but this is what I THINK he's trying to do now :

I believe he's trying to discredit all absentee ballots (in certain states) due to the signature thing. Signatures are supposed to be verified on absentee ballots, and I wonder if he's either trying to get all of them thrown out, or verify each and every signature is authentic. If he's trying to get - and succeeds - in getting every absentee ballot verified, OMG this will drag on for a LONG time and he could theoretically win on that technicality.

If so, do you find that cheap/ridiculous - or genius ? If you're a supporter, and he somehow turns this around, would you be happy or would you feel like it was a cheap victory and you'll take the win any way you can get ?

I'm starting to think his lawyers (not Giuliani though ! Yikes !) will somehow convince the court that the absentee ballots need to be verified for signatures, and they'll find inconsistencies in enough signatures to have them thrown out. I'm sure the sigs are normal, legal signatures, but somehow, the courts will see it differently. Why do I feel that way ? Because I have HORRIBLE luck and nothing ever goes right for me. I live in Buffalo where bad luck thrives, and it's 2020. Things can only get worse. I'm starting to convince myself that Trump will somehow remain President.

From what was communicated to me, it seems like he had a family member that worked for the NHL in some capacity.

I don’t think the family member/ the connections he has with the Sabres organization want stuff getting out so he perma banned himself.
