For spouting off untrue and dangerous nonsense, like the notion that DC is run be cannibalistic Democrats who are also pedophiles for example, or that Biden is a Socialist (how many times have you seen or heard that litttle nugget?).

If the constant barrage of thousands upon thousands of Trump tweets that are antagonistic, degrading, childish, nonsensical, and insulting towards people and our own institutions is not trying to "mold opinions" then I don't know what is.

If the media were biased for Trump, would it still all be "fake news", or is it only fake when fringe-thinkers and selfish asshats disagree with it?

- LandlordTom

If the media was biased for Trump it would indeed be fake news. Again, I don’t need them (the media, Facebook, Twitter) to filter out the bullpoop for me, I’m capable of deciding that for myself.
Edit: kind of reinforces my point about people being able to abide some scary, un-American practices because they agree with the desired outcome.

Interesting how did you ever decipher that. Though if everything falls apart with the NHL and NHLPA meetings, nothing might happen anytime soon.

LOL bashing Dems when it's the Cheetoh's administration all along in Washington that has botched our national health. Say what you want about New York but nationally it is Trump's pandemic because he has been President, not AOC or Joe Biden, as much as it pains you to admit it.

It's just one person on a cruise ship; don't wear a mask; it will be over when Spring comes; we've turned a corner; nothing to see here, move along. Let's hold indoor rallies and not mandate masks...it'll be great, just ask Herman Cain and 300 Secret Service agents and thousands of dead, and millions of healthcare workers (I am one) who see sick people and death every 12 hour shift, only to drive home and see restaurants, bars, gyms, and churches full of maskless people all getting each other sick.

We all hear talk about "MY freedoms, MY rights!!!". Not much gets said on Fox or by Rush and Hannity about our obligations to each other.

Science is making the vaccines that we are so happy about, not politicians, yet every time science learns something new and makes adjustments along the way in the previous 11 months, you want to blame the scientists and Democrats for flip-flopping. And pout that somehow Biden is going to get credit for the vaccines instead of the soon-to-be-departed Douchebag-In-Chief. Cry me a river, snowflakes.

God, you ever-Trumpers are franking dense.

Real conservatives mostly despise Trump and all he stands for, except for the part about making money.

Snowflake conservatives find themselves bending over backwards to blame anyone and everyone for the fact they have bankrupted their consciences by blindly following a sociopath.

Well they need to come to some sort of agreement, if a shut down doesn't happen, 0% of anything hurts both owners and players.

They started double-checking all those phantom secondary assists he was being awarded, goalies got better, pads got bigger, his competition caught up to him.

Go back and watch highlights from his first few years in the league. He'd have had a harder time shooting at a shooter tutor, seriously.

Don’t forget the equipment has changed big time. My stick in Junior was the Wally 500. Still have it for show and it gets some good laughs. I still play to this day with my 2 sons in a Oldtimers league. I use a 65flex composite and it goes like a rocket. Big change from Wally. Goalie equipment has gone off the charts since the Gretzky time

Apathy's got a hold on me.

It's the old billionaires vs. millionaires argument. For me, if a season, any type of season" happens, fine. If it doesn't?

Fine.

I remember Luongo saying something about the new stick technology, something along the lines of everybody can shoot it like Iafrate now. It still amazes me when they slow-mo a slap shot, how far the stick will bend without breaking.

Well there's still a good chance 1 of are RD goes West. And another G goes bye bye in the trade for Kuemper and then another G gets waived and takes a bus to games.
- Buff36

I’ve been begging for Kuemper for 3 months but what are you giving up for him? He won’t come cheaply, AZ needs to lower cap number so they’re not taking a Montour type for him. I’m guessing we’d have to give up something like Middelstadt and a 1st and we’d have trade Montour or miller elsewhere for a pick (if there’s a market for either) and do something with Hutton. That’s a lot of moving parts. I bet in retrospect if they knew they were getting Hall they would have let Montour walk

Well Monty going to the Kings for a prospect that in return with are 2nd that will be used for Kuemper. Mitts is very low right know, or the trade would have happened already.

Yeah - who knows if he’s the right pick but he definitely has as much of a ceiling as anybody in the draft. Seems ridiculously motivated and is improving his skating, he also has size that can’t be taught. There’s also a good article on Constantini. Maybe our new GM will surprise in a good way?

Unrelated but still interesting is the below podcast with Eichel. Dispels rumored friction between him and oreilly and him and Kane. Really good segment- he comes on about half way through.

As a fan of FL, I often get to see the opposing team’s back up goalie play
Kuemper has always been impressive, Sabres should really make a play for him. You guys might be very dangerous with him in your crease.

I dont think there were ever rumors about he and Kane not getting along. As I recall it, he and Kane were close and people were worried about Kane being a bad influence. That's how I remember it anyway

Welp, 2 sides of that coin to me.
We would like to upgrade the G position
Az wants to cut salary.
Sounds like a natural fit.
Yet if AZ wants a 1st for Kruemper, then they can hold 50% of Kruemper's salary
Else, Mitts and Johansson maybe
Not a ton of teams need a G anymore.

He’s a bust since his last name isn’t Eichel or Rossi. Only room for one Jack here.

The odd part about Quinn is that 19 already. Adams and the clown show are banking on his 2nd offseason of focusing on hockey and hoping to see more growth and the sky is the limit

We shall see

Yep I think you’re right. Funny part of the podcast was when they brought up Kane and Eichel meeting at center ice before a game (when Kane was with SJ)

Kane: I see they gave you my number (#9)
Eichel: yeah, and They put this little letter on it too (c)

True on all counts. A trade is there to be made but I don’t think they’ll pursue it

Thing is ullmark was really good last year, when healthy, except when short handed where his numbers were atrocious. Now, was the historically bad PK due to the goaltending, the players killing the penalties or both? Thats the big question that I don’t have the answer too
