He fleeced Minnesota for Staal and Ralph got the prized UFA to sign with Buffalo. Overpaid Girgs and we’ll see about Quinn, but seems pretty good for me so far? Who the fck cares if he talked to Beene, who has done a “decent” job with the Bills. Why do we have to b:tch about Everything - turbo044
FIFY.
It's not that he called Beane, it's that they aired it voluntarily. Kinda like:
Why the (frank) would a team voluntarily release something like that? "Let's make our GM look like he has no (frank)ing idea what he's doing!" "Sounds great, Bob!".
AND they roped Denis Leary into doing the narration.
Edit: It's gets more burtal every time I watch it. If it wasn't the Bruins you'd almost feel bad for them.

I have no problem with the Beene show either because that was all it was, part of the show that perhaps the Pegula's wanted in it to incorporate their Bills baby. it was not meant to be anything of substance and if it was it wouldn't have been seen by us.

Right. I’m sure the call was staged, and if it wasnt, holy hell that’s just something you don’t make public.
Most important offseason in a decade and he’s calling someone in another sport for advice

It's the best off season since 2015 when we got ROR and Eichel
A. We didn’t sign Alex Pietrangelo. I like Hall, but he’s coming off a really down two seasons FYI
B. He had absolutely nothing to do with it. - sbroads24
Hurt his knee in 2018 and takes a full year to recover from that type of knee injury. He should be back to 100% this year and, playing with Jack, should get a ton of points
I don’t care if Ralph is mostly responsible for him signing here - only care that a top UFA signed in Buffalo. Btw, I think is was as much about $ as it was Ralph.

I don’t care either. I’m happy Hall’s here.
But trading for old teammates and signing guys the coach liked in his only other 40 game coaching stop isn’t a sustainable business model.
They bungled the draft. They bungled RFA and UFA contracts. They showed that they can’t evaluate good bottom 6 talent.

The continued lack of a trade there is ponderous and stupid.
^ I look forward to the overnight shift telling me we don't NEED to move a defenseman to give borgen a chance when he hasn't proven ANYTHING - jcragcrumple
Its just a continuous ,ongoing example of bad asset management
Borgen will go to Seattle, or just walk at some point, and we will have little idea if he’s good or not.

I hate the Sabres. The Pegula’s more than anyone.
Adams I’m sure is a good dude.
He has absolutely 0 idea what he’s doing. How could he?
“ Adams, a 45-year-old Clarence native, was then hand-picked by the Pegulas to replace Jason Botterill as general manager of the Sabres, whose nine-season playoff drought is the longest in franchise history and the worst mark in the National Hockey League.
Adams had no experience as a high-ranking member of an NHL hockey operations department. He had never negotiated a free-agent contract or trade“
This is why he’s calling an NFL GM and looking like a total schmuck. - sbroads24

People vilifying Cuomo are complete morons. If these people led the country, we'd be more divided than we have been since the Civil War... Oh wait. Thank god that's over.

Cuomo is not used to reporters not stroking him, or something? Incredibly condescending attitude & tone of voice. Seems that he likes being questioned about as much as el Trumpo does.

Or, he is fed up with morons not knowing how to read or have comprehension to understand basic concepts? We are over 6 months into a pandemic and people are still confused about what's going on and denying that the virus exists - Even on their literal death beds. I honestly wish it was a virus that attacked stupidity, because there are way too many absolute idiots in this world.
The guy followed Trump's CDC guidelines and got blamed for about 10,000 elderly people dying in nursing homes - But he also took drastic measures before anyone else did in the country and possibly saved MILLIONS of people's lives because of it.
People make mistakes - Administrations make broad and generalized laws with the larger population in mind. There was no way to save everyone, there were always going to be people who were more susceptible and those people happened to be the elderly, obese and diseased. Alternatively, if America wasn't a complete cess-pool of mouth-breathing fat-asses who think they know everything, maybe less people would have lost their lives and I don't care how harsh that sounds, it's the truth.
Our dumb-ass president got it after refusing to wear a mask and denying it existed and he almost died - If he wasn't the president and didn't have access to the best doctors and health-care in the country, he would have choked on his own boogers.
Cuomo took action sooner than anyone in the country, and he did the right thing, like it or not. Small businesses aren't dying because of unfair laws, they're dying because morons elected people like Ronald Regan as president and let our government and corporations divide and conquer unions and small businesses for almost half a century.

Wake the (frank) up. - 3rd GM's the charm
My reply was nothing about his policies or anything, it was mainly to point out that he got bent and started behaving in a way similar to Trump. The guy simply asked him to clarify something he said yesterday. Cuomo obnoxiously scolds him not to be obnoxious and offensive, lol. If this was Trump the focus would be more on how “mean” and “disrespectful” he was, not about if he was right or not.
Small businesses right now, I don’t mean “small businesses” of 499 employees or less (or whatever the official gvnmt definition is) I mean these mom & pop stores and restaurants, etc. all over the country are at serious risk of dying because they had to shut down, and still can’t operate fully due to the health risk, that has nothing to do with Reagan. It’s a fukked up situation where we get to choose our poison, disease or financial ruin, pick you poison, very much like deciding who to vote for is.

This is your best (and only ?) post ever. Thank you for this. I suppose some locals in this comment section would prefer having the Governor of S Dakota, Wisconsin, or Iowa instead ? Check out their Covid19 positivity rates and then tell me Cuomo's doing a bad job. And the only reason we as a state aren't below 2% at this moment is because of freakin' Erie County residents who don't follow the mask and social distancing rules. Erie County positivity rate is the highest in the state. I believe Hamburg alone is close to 9%.
