This doctor treated thousands of covid patients.
With hydroxychloriquine, zpacs and some with steroidal inhalers.

there are many people who look at 250,000 as a drop in the bucket in comparison to 330,000,000. And yeah, it's a small percentage, I suppose. The math proves it no matter how big a quarter of a million lives are. Some of the numbers are even inflated, like if its the final nail in the coffin to an elderly DNR patient on hospice (happened to a person I know).

For this reason, you're gonna see people saying "It's not that bad! Lighten up, Francis!" And frankly, I get it. That being said, I've got parents in their 70s now, and an 8 year old daughter. I know I can likely shake it off, but I'm not putting them in danger, nor everyone else who has elderly/sickly relatives. It's just common decency.

Is the news media milking it for ratings? Yeah. well, they do that with anything. People have had enough of the media slinging horror stories to get us to not eat eggs or to never trust a mechanic.

But wearing a mask isn't asking for much. I'm a fairly centrist libertarian, and although I don't want my individuality stepped upon, this is just a foolish hill on which to die. Oh, and for dear god, wash yourselves. That's always a plus at all times.

Wear a mask and take precautions. It's not all about you. Doesn't matter if you have nobody else in your life worth keeping safe. Other people do.

That being said, I enjoyed a bourbon last night at my bar, but it was outside and with just 2 friends around a table for 8. Nobody was around. I wore a mask anyway when not sipping on my Woodford. It was great, and not hard to avoid folks. I never even needed to step indoors and kept the visit short.
