You might want to stop equating Trump supporters with the term "far right" . Your term by the way. Some certainly are far right. The vast majority aren't.
- Kooleus

So the vast majority is just bonkers - or is extreme egoists more accurate?

No I won't because as much as you might like too, you can't separate Trump from the far right. No, not every Trump supporter is a far right nut job, but pretty much every far right nut is a huge Trump supporter. The crazy MAGA contingent screaming about gay frogs and dead voters, and treat anyone that looks or thinks differently than they do like a hostile foreign invader. The same people that act more like a cult than political supporters and who'd most likely believe Trump if announced tomorrow that the sky was now green and puppies were a liberal plot to undermine his administration. You can't deny those people exist. They're a lot more of them than you think, and they're very, very loud. You have to own them just like the left has to own the crazy portion of their support base.

Discounting and trivializing a large group of people's opinions based on a very select few (less than 1%) of the group, is not just ignorant, it is dangerous.

Do the Antifa morons represent the overall majority of people who support Biden? Of course not. These hollow themes, generic platitudes, and the general acceptance of like are idiot fodder for mindless automotons in the world. Not a great thing to participate in friend.

Your less than 1% is a bit of an underestimate. I'm not going to wager a guess myself on how large that group is, that actually would be ignorant and dangerous. Asking the Right to take a good hard look at it's more unseemly elements rather than just trying to ignore or dismiss them by pretending that group isn't as large and influential as it actually is, is not. I would like you to explain how I discounted and trivialized that groups opinions when I was pretty clearly signaling out a particular sect of Trump supporters, the same group you seemed to be trying to distance the bulk of the group from in the same breath? I disagree, I have differences of opinions. I don't discount.

Your comment was pretty clear. You are using the 'far right' element to browbeat the vast majority of conservatives. You can try and be purposefully obtuse to the obvious, but we all see throught it. Both sides have extremists. Only fools pretend they represent the group as a whole.

Unless Lafreniere totally folds or is hurt he will win the Calder. Not a shot in hell the hockey writers don't give it to this kid. Im a Rangers fan so there is bias here but I don't see the hockey community at large giving it to a Russian goalie over one of their own Canadian darlings. It would make them all look stupid for hyping him for the last 5 years if he doesn't win.
- Ranjaz023

They’ll give it to a Russian goalie over a Canadian kid if the goalie legit outperforms him. Not predicting that. Just saying.

This I do actually agree with... The rest... No. I use the term 'Far Right' to distinguish the bat-crap insane segment of that party from the rest, not what you're suggesting. The exact opposite actually. Believe that or don't, I don't really care. Thanks, but I know what I wrote, and what I meant when I wrote those words, so I don't require youf assistance in interpreting them for me.

1) Vegas will be a playoff contender for the next 4-6 years easily. I have to disagree here.

2) NJ will be better than most analysts put them pre-season. The Blackwood/ Crawford combo will be the best goaltending duo in the NHL, enough to squeak them into the playoffs. But Washington in my humble opinion still has it. They aren’t missing the playoffs. Carlson had his best season ever last year pre-covid. Ovi showing no sign of slowing down. They will be there next year.

3) Maybe. Good chance. I’ve heard nothing but spectacular things about this kid. I was thinking he would be a sleeper in fantasy so don’t write too much more about him. I agree they won’t name him starter immediately, but I think he takes over the isles net very early on in the season as well. That division is going to be stacked with great goaltending.

#2. No they aren't, there are a handful of others better as a duo than them. The NYR, Columbus, Boston, Colorado..and the Devils aren't a playoff team this year.

It's too bad Lundquist didn't end up in New Jersey. They'd be a top contender with his presence. The convenience factor wasnt enough I guess. Also, predicting playoff spots is silly when we don't know the full rosters. Like what if New Jersey signs Hoffman, and then flips him for Gaudreau? I'm thinking the Devil's make the playoffs then. Sign and flip isn't that farfetched. We've heard the Oilers are talking to Haula to then flip him for MAF.

Nice try, but good job showing everybody what lumping an entire political party in together actually looks like. Haven't met a leftist yet that doesn't enjoy burning a CVS to the ground every other Tuesday. But Yeah, the left has to own the protest rioters and the crazy portion of SJW community on the far left, just like the right needs to own the Trump Cultist portion of their party rather than trying to defend them or minimize the influence they have on that party right now.

Can anyone what so ever with half a brain explain to me why this site allows Political rants to exist. I wish these asshats would stop and only talk about HOCKEY....the only Left or Right that needs to be discussed here are Wingers of Hockey not Politics. I have left social media everywhere because of this. Facebook, Twitter and even LinkedIn have deteriorated into a pile a useless crap. Take your political views elsewhere already. No One really wants to know your freakin opinion.
Next time it happens their accounts need to be put in the Penalty Box for 1 week for posting Stupidity. Let just drop the puck and game on already

This is a very political statement.

And hey! Why leave out us LDs and RDs. We're important to!
