Absolutely... He has the perfect compliment of skills ... Big / skates well / good shot / tough and really good kid.. Love what he brings.

I agree. If I remember correctly, his first five goals in the NHL were pretty much all breakaways that he went five hole on.

Goalies figured that out, but he couldn't figure out how to lift the puck. Once he adds more variety, he will be dangerous. I also love his edge.

I expect Comtois to have a permanent role on the 3rd line this year. Maybe take stints on the top 2 lines due to injuries or line juggling. Comtois has a nice skill set and lots of room to improve and honestly I expect nothing less. With him playing on the 3rd line he should draw more favourable match-ups and be able to take advantage of that. I would also like to see him get some power-play time in front of the net, using his body to screen and cash in on the garbage like Perry/Kesler, heck even Ritchie used to.

Spot on.. I'd like to see him even on the wing with TT in the middle and Perhaps Milano on the other side. Even though both are lefties.
