The USA admitted to UFO sightings this year and even released navy footage of encounters....

Stop. There is no such thing as alien visitation. It’s impossible. The physics of time dictates it.

Wonder if more of this will start happening, might be the beginning of the end for ECHL.

Crazy to think that Jordan Binnington worked his way up through the ECHL to a Stanley cup champion.

Alex Burrows as well, without the championship part. Important part of a great Canucks era...although I wasn’t really a fan of his antics.

I don't know how I would feel about them cancelling the season until they actually did it.

That article did talk about loaning out goalies to that league.
A couple good points were made including the fact that nhl teams can only have 50 SPC's, what they didn't mention though was how many players are developing in European leagues ,NCAA etc.

A few months ago, I mentioned that I wouldn't be surprised to see some regional pro leagues start forming ie; a Western pro league with teams in bc, Washington Saskatchewan Manitoba Minnesota,North Dakota and Oregon.

Not sure if that league can survive without affiliation dollars though

Late to the blog, thanks Carol and as usual great job. I do wonder if Demko is 1A though... did this already come up? I think Holtby will be the starter but demko will get a lot of starts
- neem55

I think this is how it will go as well. Might be pretty fluid at the start of the year though, 1A will probably be whoever is playing better after the first few games.

Just looking to see if there was any additional thoughts on my idea of revenue generation of the NHL.

Oh well.

I got more of a reaction for being snotty, and arrogant. (par for the course around here)

Ahem...Its cool. A complement even. I'd be scared of logic and reason too if I only know how to throw poop.

Up until this year, it’s amazing how many Euros were developing in the NCAA.

Many physicists and mathematicians, including Stephan Hawking, think it’s quite likely that it exists. The probability that there are more advanced or that at least one is, is also quite up there regardless of the tin hats.

I think it is great that the kids nowadays are taking the path of education, while still developing, i would like to see the Canadian Universities doing something similar, except allowing kids who have played major junior eligible

I scanned through the article pretty quickly. It's just very rare for a player to come out of the league.

Euro leagues have a better set up for developing.

I can't say i've seen an ECHL ever but I gather that the level of play, it's probably pretty low.

I can't say I know at all what players did during the last lock out.

Would even say a tournament be beneficial to the league in April, May, June if a vaccine was available and fans were allowed in?

Kind of hard with 31 teams but maybe have an "all-star' team of prospects player or something to make it even 32.

Sure, that’s theoretics. Doesn’t make it reality though.

They sort of do that now, but the CHL only provides some funding after the player has finished junior eligibility. They need to let them kids start making the decision to enter that route at 18, if they choose to.

Example would beCarl Neill et al.
