No Winnipeg? Also, didn't you already make a prediction?

Yeah definitely missed Winnipeg, place them above Vancouver, and predictions change as the games go by.

Remember the first post, are these my real predictions or am I just screwing around...even I don’t know

Making predictions based on teams that rarely play each other is damn hard, but I'll take a stab

Calgary
Toronto
---------
Montreal
---------
Vancouver
Edmonton
Winnipeg
---------

---------

---------
Ottawa

The team I think I'll be most wrong about though is Winnipeg. I think goalies will benefit most from the travel schedule and they could ride Hellebuyck

- WhiteLie

The only team I was comfortably right about was Toronto being at the top, but otherwise horrible guessing. I was even wrong about who I thought I'd be most wrong about - that's probably Calgary/Ottawa

Toronto (regular season team - young but not new to the league so will benefit from a short season.... but just a regular season team.)

Edmonton (drai and mcjesus can carry this team. i see them going on big swings - win a lot in a row, go in a slump and so on.)

Montreal (the real big question marks, just like in past years is price and weber's health/play over the long run.)

Vancouver (young team that will take advantage of the shorter schedule but with a shorter/condensed schedule, their depth will be exposed by injuries. blah blah blah about this not being an issue for just the Canucks.)

Winnipeg (why aren't they better? seems like they should be but they always seem to be lacking. at this stage, i ask again, why aren't they better/consistent?

Calgary - my previous point about injuries affecting a short season come into play here. Treliving is gone this season. Put that in your book Mini.

Ottawa - Thank god they have the draft. But at the end of the day without better ownership (who allowed the arena to be built way out there?), they'll be a poor team with good young talent who never seem to get anywhere.

btw - i see a very tight race between van/wpg/cal for the last playoff spot. so those 3 teams are pretty much on the same tier.

Slide Vancouver to the bottom at you pretty much nailed it

Edmonton - 2nd
Vancouver - 7th...
Toronto - 1st...
Montreal - 4th
Winnipeg - 3rd
Calgary - 5th
Ottawa - 6th

Now that was some pretty awful predictions.

Although I will still maintain I like the talent on the team, and given different circumstances with the coaching and Covid I would still place Vancouver in the top 3.

Don't think many people did very good on their predictions.

Can't say I like this version of the Canucks. There isn't one defensemen on this team, that I enjoy watching, Hughes and Schmidt are at the top of my strongly dislike list.
And of course, the coaching sucks.

it's crazy how mediocre to horrible the entire division is.

spread the teams amongst the other divisions and i don't think any of them get out of the first round unless a goalie goes on a heater.

Hey it's all lays at the feet of Green and his non existent systems....or inept systems if he has any.

Gallant would have the Canucks as top seed in the division...

the coaching needs to be changed. i don't trust jb to hire the right guy though since he's the guy who hired green without interviewing anyone else. same reason i don't trust him to bring in the complementary pieces to help the core as he's shown little ability to scout pro talent.

Sure you want them that low after they added star defensemen Alex Edler?
