Well yea cause no one wants to give up their best pieces.

really if Columbus was willing do do Strome, K'Andre and Kravstov it's something the Rangers really should consider IMO

it hurts I know, especially K'Andre

I would give up any defenseman other than him.

At the end of the day, if youre not willing to part with any solid chips for PLD. Then you wait for Barkov.

I'd prefer giving them Lundkvist over Miller, I'd love to get Dubois without giving up K'Andre

I just think you gotta be realistic about the value of a young center like Dubois though

Lundkvist, Schneider, Tony.... I just personally like Miller, plus our left side is really really weak. Think thats creating a huge whole.

I agree.
But, first I think we need to be realistic about the near certainty that this is the squad we are rolling with, at least for the short term.
Dubois is incredible and would really fill a need, but our rebuild is 93% complete. I don’t see them making major changes right now. There is far too much to discover yet from what we have right here in camp.

PLD is already a proven center.

Imagine he was your center and what youd want for him.

We dont want to give up Chytil without the moon, yet we want to offer the dirt for PLD.

Everyone wants to trade defensemen, however this isnt a position of need for CBJ... Jones, Werenski, Savard, Gavrikov... theyre doing just fine there.

Huh?

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about.

In my opinion I don't want to move Miller, there are plenty of other d men to chose from including prospects.

When the (frank) did we talk about moving Chytil for the moon?

I can’t see Torts and Tony D getting along

so today's development is that Tony D has been moved back to the right side exclusively

not sure if that means the left side experiment with him is already over

The only reason I see a possibility to the Dubois thing is, we are so weak at center and 2 Davidson really liked Dubois as he drafted him over Jesse Puljujivavrviiiii

Chytil - In a bunch of older posts.

Moving Miller - but thats the whole point, proven center for proven nothing prospects. If thats what they want, take it, I consider it a steal for a player thats got #1 center talent. Theres very little I wouldnt give them for PLD, and that potentially includes making Kakko available.

Disagree. It has to be a smart move. Opening a giant whole on the left side doesn't help the team no matter who the center is.

Hajek, Miller, Lindgren and Johnson as the 7th?

Someone might be moving, or not making the team. The numbers don't work.

Weve had a giant hole on the left side anyway. However, its a lot easier to trade for a Dman than a 22 year old, potential franchise center.

Well I think Miller could be a franchise D man.

I think they would look for forwards and picks if I had to guess, so really don't think the defenseman would be that important to them.

At the end of the day, I cant imagine CBJ asking for one of our defensive prospects as the key part of a trade.
