Super unfair but with an already crammed season im shocked the teams dont have to forfeit the games. Im happier watching the games anyways but the guaranteed wins would be a good start haha

Haha. That would be something. Imagine if they had to fill the spots with AHL guys for the two games?

With all of the new faces on the team maybe a couple extra days of practice isn’t the worst thing.

“The Panthers will take on Juulsen’s salary of just $700,000 that makes him among the cheapest blue-line options in the league.

Montreal would have liked to keep Juulsen in the organization to continue his development. Injuries have limited his playing time in the previous two seasons, at one point putting his hockey career in jeopardy. He had shown himself to be an NHL option in the past, and the Panthers gambled on his injury history being behind him.

Florida will need to keep him on the NHL roster to retain him. Should they try to place him on waivers within the next 30 days, the Habs can reclaim him and assign him directly to the taxi squad or AHL roster.“

So I guess he’s on the opening night roster, judging by that last section?

Q has had Ekblad in Yandle’s place on PP1. Keeper has seen time with PP2. The last couple of practices Yandle has skated with the second group (borderline roster / taxi squad players). Maybe it’s just Q wanting to see others try the PP in training camp, but it’s starting to cause some speculation.

Does florida have to have roster set same day as everyone else? Or not until game 1?

I saw a rumor about the Cats trying to have him waive his NTC and this demotion could be a way of trying to get him to do so.

I doubt that.

I think the more realistic reality is he’s being out-played by some of the others that fit the mold/direction they want to move the team.

Lol, easy now, from the looks of it in the interview from the notebook clip Matt posted, ginger been putting in the time at the gym 💪. Hope he has stocked up on sunscreen, because he will be staying in Sunrise when the season starts.
