20 goals is exceptional for an injury shorten / covid shortened season.

14 goals blows

Imo i think you're right mostly because it was called that way on the field imo

Edit, imo we're both wrong

Finisher.
Sabres need more, too bad the Log line with 99.99% CF couldn't hit the end boards let alone the net.

- IonSabres

I won’t argue that.

That’s why Florida brought in Duclair

That’s why the Blues brought in Hoffman.

Neither of those guys got 8 years $72M.

20 goals in only 59 games in his first year. I am glad they have another weapon. He appears to buy into the system too. Not too bad.

😀
Can we make a friendly wager involving oloffson this season?

The standard around here?

I'm excited about oloffson. Big time.

Suprising that fan's are not on board?

Skinner is a one dimensional goal scorer, nothing more nothing less.

Offers no playmaking ability, no special teams ability, and if he isn’t scoring he’s hurting you more then helping you.

Probably why Rod Brind’Amour and Ralph hate him because there is more to the game of hockey then goal scoring, especially when you aren’t scoring.

- Pegullaville

I don't see any of that bad stuff when I watch him play. There's effort and he's fine. Let him play on the top line where he belongs.

It's a coin flip with every call. Still can't believe that fumble call yesterday. Makes me wonder why they even bother reviewing if they're just going to come up with that.

I think that ref just didn't want to be responsible for essentially ending the game

It just kills the flow of the game and they consistently get it wrong anyways. You could call a penalty on every single play and move the spot of the ball on every single play as well. The list goes on. At some point just accept the fact that it’s a game and get on with it. I think it’s played it’s course already. The only sport that has it right is tennis.

He has a bit more size, I want to see more I think he will be more rounded than Audette was but we'll see he has only had 59 games so far.

I'm pretty sure Olofsson is going to be Ales Kotalik 2.0. He was the shiny new toy last year and unless he's set of on his off-wing on the PP, he's going to be useless.

FFS, put any of the people who post on this board on Eichel's wing and we would score 20 goals.

The fact of the matter is that Olofsson had 9 even strength goals scored in 59 games last year, compared to Skinner's 14. He had about 1:30 of PP time per powerplay, and shot at a 15.7% clip.

He is not going to be a regular 15% guy. He will drop down to 8-11% this year and unless he is the main focus on the 1st unit PP, he will not score much more than the 11 PP goals he did.

His season this year will be just about the same as last year if we're lucky. I'm thinking more like 12 goals, at most.

Its embarrassing. They need to go with there gut more than the “rule” ( needs to be clear to overturn ) or on field call stands

I 1000% know that was a fumble yesterday. But if im not trying to be a homer id say it was at least 90%. Id say 9/10 people would call that a fumble and that 1/10 was the refs. Its such a easy fix if you dont have robots officiating

If anything Jeff Skinner compares more to Audette than anyone, oh my god this is the worst take of the day.

I hope Olofsson improves. He was terrible at 5 on 5 with our superstar

Scored about 1/5 that Skinner did 5 on 5 with Eichel

Skinner is a ton better though. Not Olofsson’s fault

Reinhart had 6 even strength goals in his 2nd or 3 year. That might be one reason he got a show me contract after his first contract was up. Has he got his big contract yet? Didn't think so. Hall got 8 million from us because many in the league wanted him. Sam got another low contract when team's could have tossed an URF offer sheet at him and no one wanted to even when he was cheap. Supply and lack of demand I guess even though Sam had more goals than Hall last year.

It’s pretty stupid but I’ve laughed a few times. They “slimed” the end zone when the saints scored the td. The last field goal attempt they put a giant spongebob in between the uprights.
