Actually he scored more 5x5 later on in the season which helped him get 50% PP and 50% 5x5.

For a 7th round pick 42 pts and being productive in the NHL is a bonus. I am sure he is happy to be compared with Skinner, skinner being compared to VO, probably not all that thrilled.

Yes he can score but he is streaky. The problem I see with him is if he’s not scoring he’s not doing much else to make up for it. Maybe Ralph is trying to get his game to a level where he can score and isn’t a defensive liability.

Kinda. He’s also a pest that draws a (frank) ton of penalties so the guy that replaced him can tee off 1 timers on the PP. this is something a stat sheet rarely tells you on a player, but it wouldn’t surprise me if he was top 20 in drawing penalties

You can just about say this about any goal-scorer ever. Even Ovechkin is streaky and he might be the best goal-scorer ever.

I think you would agree that getting another 40G's from one ov the elite 5v5 league scorers is imperative. Oloffson can keep the PP time and get his 12Gs there. That's 52, rather than 35. Just makes common sense...could be 8 more wins/16 points. Or, he can continue to F with him. Since Jeff ain't going anywhere, it would be the smart thing to do ...

I took a winnebago with some friends to the Bill's/ Steelers game in 96' in Pittsburgh. Bruce had the flu and didnt play. Kelly got knocked out. Lost obviously.

I personally owe them. That's the only Bill's playoff game I've been too. Couldn't afford the superbowl era tix 😐

Absolutely, I think it's ok to have different favorite players and "players styles".

Sam is an important part of the Sabres success. Hopefully he stays consistent without eichel.

Seems less likely of a sophomore slump being 25?
Maybe less high end ceiling / improvement because he is already 25.
