I love how you talk like you know but then come down on others.

If you want to talk about this Florida referee perhaps you should mention my entire resume. But instead you’re the defender of the try hards.

You try to be witty with your boo-hoo Kahuns (probably your best work by far)

If you add in Skinners massive year (while playing with Eichel he is a 30 goal 60 point player (still over paid no argument here)

But you still have an organization and a coach that has tried to set up others for success (and the team for failure like Risto getting 23 minutes a night) but we want to try to transform one of the best 5 on 5 goal scorers into a shut down winger?

Explain to me how that makes any sense. Jeff Skinner isn’t this 21 year old kid he is a 10 year NHL vet who even the least informed people can look at his career and say yeah he’s offense all the way. But this soccer guy thinks he can change his game all of a sudden?

When this blows up (and it certainly will) and the Sabres can’t move his contract because he is a 30 point player dragging around his two boat anchors of line mates I don’t want to hear the complaints from you.

This is excellent stripes A+

I'm not trying to come off as condescending , you're an excellent poster. 🤝

I just think something is up between them personally. Maybe it didnt start right? This off season with zoom meetings maybe isnt the same as a heart to heart in person? Maybe he needs to play a dumb system?

Regardless, I still see getting an average guy goals, that wouldnt be scoring, like ( tage or cozens) with eichel benefits the team.
Tage gets 25 with eichel instead of 8.
+17

Skinner gets 28 without eichel. -12 less than a 40 goal season?

Net 5 goals. = easy profit 🙂

Also....
the Eichel line will be productive no matter what
If Skinner can help make line3 productive,
that’s a HUGE boost for us
And at now he’ll likely “be stuck” with another really talented offensive player in Cozens

And if it’s not working,
they can always switch things up

I have no issue with Skinner not playing with Eichel. I do have an issue with Skinner playing with those two borderline NHLers

Give me 28 goals playing with Staal and Reinhart and I’ll take that assuming VO or Tage scores decently 5 on 5 with Eichel.

Olofsson will get his goals on the PP I have no doubt about that his shot should be used all the time.

Olofsson Eakin Cozens granted they need more o zone starts but that’s fine.

Just anchoring Skinner down like he is doing is an awful idea.

Whatever their beef is it needs to stop. Good coaches find a way to make it work with less than perfect pieces.

There isn’t a perfect player on this team. But to get them all going you have to be smarter.

After last season I wasn’t thrilled with Skinners usage and granted they didn’t have a second line center. Now they do and you move him to the 4th line? A good coach/communicator should be able to see both sides here and work towards some common ground to set the entire team up for success.

We’re gonna have to fade great teams in the playoffs

Problem is now we’re probably facing the best two back to back if we win

Titans and Ravens both looked gassed today. Tampa Bay looked weak against a 7-9 team with a 76th string QB. Rams and Seattle both looked mediocre. Drew Brees is cooked. Roetlisberger is done like dinner.

I think the Bills had a very questionable gameplan going into the Colts game. Overthinking it. But Allen was excellent.

I like our chances but all-in-all it's looking like Green Bay vs. Kansas City in the SB.

Agreed. But they also seem like a much tougher opponent than PIT

That sounds good until the coach doesn't start Cozens and instead has Lazar and Sheahan with Skinner.
