But i thought Cozens isn’t gonna start at Center?
U can’t make that part of your argument,
but then slot him at Center as part of your solution

Hall Eichel Cozens
Skinner Staal Oloffson
Thompson Eakin Reinhart

Or

Hall Eichel Thompson
Skinner Eakin Reinhart
Oloffson Staal Cozens

There’s so many better options to spread the wealth around than what he’s doing.

Cozens is not ready to be a 2nd line center. This brings back fond memories of the Mitts and 2nd line memories in his first year.
- GilPerreault11

only one problem with your theory

berglund was second line center

casey was playing 11 minutes a night

Disagree that either of those setups are any better than what we’re currently set up to do:
Hall-Eichel-Tage
Olofsson-Staal-Reinhart
Skinner-Lazar/Cozens-Cozens/_____

How so?

Cozens gets to learn from the ultimate pro in Staal and Cozens can set up Oloffson and his one timer

Skinner and Reinhart are a pair and Eakin can chip in a few with Reinhart being the solid defensive player

Oh and Lazar plays his shut down role since he has next to no offensive skill

Unless Lazar learned how to play the game over the offseason he will not know a shut down role if it hit him in the arse.

Skinner & Cozens can be effective linemates imo
Especially when they’re getting benificial matchups being on the “3rd line”

And u don’t have to be on someone’s line to learn from them

Which is where Larsson should be instead.

Lazar doesn’t bring much to this team.

Until Cozens learns how to play center in the NHL that line will still need a real NHL center

I'll see what Reider, Eakins and Sheahan can do, I'm not worrying about losing Larsson. They lost many years with him, they can lose without him; or new blood, talent, culture can be good.

What are you circling back to. Got a quote?
- Michael Pachla

I'm not going to go rummaging through the last blog but I said something about burying Skinner in the bottom-6 with Lazar, you said you were willing to wait and not ready to jump in front of a semi yet, then in this blog practically did a 180 and agreed with me.

Not really a big deal.

YOU had Cozens listed at Center with Skinner on line2
The only difference with that,
and what Ralph is doing,
is that Sam won’t be on that line right now

We don’t have 3 legit centers (right now) unless Cozens is one of them

I kinda like that.

I’ll have to spend the next hour looking at my rosters.

Did two drafts at once and I kept getting confused who I picked where lol

Olofsson Staal Eakin

Something like that you have defensive sound players on all 3 lines and offensive players on all 3 lines.

- Stripes77

So it’s ok for u to put Cozens at center with Skinner.... as long as it’s on line2,
and not line3 like it looks like Ralph is doing???

Cody Eakin isn’t a bad offensive center. He just isn’t the traditional shut down 3rd line center. Make 3 scoring lines and one shut down line

Hall Eichel Tage
Skinner Staal Cozens
Olofsson Eakin Reinhart
Reider Sheehan Okposo

Move Olofsson and Skinner if you want
