Hutton might not be good, but at least he’s an
NHL quality goalie
If the Sabres have to give u a pick to take him,
then if he ok with that

if you're new jersey, why would you do that?

and if you're buffalo, why would you send a draft pick for that exchange, especially when you're already missing three of your next 14 picks over the course of the next two seasons?

Don't see that either, if fat ass had done anything over the last year we would already have had that goalie.

it doesn't make sense...however, over the past decade, i've been proven wrong on more than one occasion while saying those exact words, "it doesn't make sense"...

Vogl's line predictions for the Athletic make sense if, as it looks, ralph is intent upon moving tage up and skinner down (again):

hall - jack - tage
olofsson - staal - skunk
reider - eakin - okposo
new whipping boy - lazer larry - cozens

Just a hunch, and I have nothing to back this up with, but I think we see "good" Hutton this season.

he got off to a rip-roaring start last season and the prior season he got hot after a slow start...both times he fell off of a cliff...

if the sabres can get some of that early on, especially to start the season, i'd be thrilled

Really don't understand what is going on between them, I mean did Skinner cream pie Ralph's daughter or something.

power struggle?...skinner is what he is...ralph is instilling "the sabres way"...fact is, they need to start winning yesterday...

if ralph's intent upon plowing ahead, which it looks like he is, having cozens on that line would be making the best of a bad situation...if he throws sheahan there, because he plays the "right way" and is needed for defense and on the pk, it probably won't be a very productive situation...

imo, of course

i think it can work...jack and hall will do what they do regardless of who's on their wing and tage will be the beneficiary until he pirouettes his way down the lineup and possibly on to the taxi squad...

and once that happens there will be a shift in wingers...

imo, of course

I'm ok with this for now as long as the lazer line gets 3rd line minutes (or LOG fourth line minutes) If they are playing true 4th line mins behind the REO speedwagon line, I foresee some stool tossing.

Cozens would help, I think they need to check there attitudes and personalities and the door and work it out.

cozens is anti-skinner in that he plays a strong 200' game and has the ability to set-up as well as score...imo, of course, he'll help provide some needed space...

then again i can see ralph being hesitant because skinner, bring the stubborn rouge talent he's characterized as, might be a "bad influence" when trying to teach "the sabres way"...whatever that is

I really don't like Olofsson on that line. There is not any speed on that line. They're going to struggle mightily in transition. None of those 3 guys are equipped to carry through the neutral zone or fast enough to retrieve dump-ins.

I wish Ralph and Skinner could just figure this pissing contest out because Skinner is undoubtedly the correct choice for that line - imho of course

Maybe, he could be a bad influence, think with the vets brought in would help with that. Guess we shall see, one way or the other we need Skinner going this year.

Bills add Devonta Freeman to their practice squad. They've got a lot of has-been's on it.

The Sabres also have their fair share of players that also might need time to warm up?
