Kucherov’s surgery was probably something that nagged him that he could play through and said frank it I’ll do the surgery now to be better off long term and it’s a 56 game Covid season anyway coming off a cup win.

Lightning get to keep two to three forwards on the roster they wouldn’t have otherwise have been able to and Kuch is healthy come playoff time.

He had 2 shots in the hip within a couple weeks of each other, they didn't help. It is an actual injury..going to need surgery at some point. Smart move to have it taken care of now and still be able to return for playoffs.

I had thyroid cancer in 2016 and had to have my thyroid removed. A few years later, the cancer came back in some lymph nodes, and I had them removed last year. Leading up to the surgeries, I had to go on a low-iodine diet. My doctor told me about a low iodine/sodium diet cookbook that worked well. I had to consume basically NO iodine/sodium for 2 weeks each time, and using this cookbook did the trick :

Also, for anyone that wants to lose weight for any reason at all, try going on a diet where you can't have any salt and stick to it like your life depends on it (basically my situation). When forced to use that diet, I lost at least 10 pounds each time, and I wasn't even trying to lose weight. You have to read every food label. It's amazing when you look at them - trying to find things that don't have sodium in it. Good luck ! It's tough...basically EVERYTHING has sodium in it. So you end up making everything yourself, which is what I did using that cookbook.

If I sit on a metal bleacher or anything else that's cold for too long I get these big honking piles and I have to give up the greasy breakfasts for the better part of a week. Ironically in that situation one of the things that helps me most is to sit in a hot bath with a lot of Epsom Salts - so I actually have to INCREASE the salt.

Also there are a few of those Korean pedicure places - you really gotta know where to go - if you tip them a hell of a lot they'll push them back in for you but that aint cheap so by all means try the epsom salts first.

Hey 50, hope all is going well. I don't know how you are with cooking but cumin, paprika, garlic powder give nice taste to different things. I buy all fresh poultry, meat, pork and certain fresh veggies. Try a little Cauliflower with olive oil and cumin and bake it in the oven for about a hour and a half, good poop and healthy for you.
