He’s a great developer of young talent? And he works cheap.
I’m sure he’ll have them playing much better in the 2nd half of the season. - scottak

I am actually and I can come up with more than your one trick bullpoop. This team isn't gonna win in the next five years and colliton will be gone. Anyone with their head not up their own ass knows this. So what does that say about you genius? |

When posters were predicting who would be the Hawks whipping boy, I don’t think I saw anyone pick Colliton, so I will! |

First game with a young team and there’s no room on the ledge. How about kicking back with a cold one and watching the young guys and see what they bring. Mitchell has looked good for his first NHL game. |

Well 3 -2 is long gone .I have not seen anything to like yet maybe Shaw working hard .It is early but looks like along season at least it not 82 games .We get a top pick to go with a healthy Dach maybe some light starts to shine . |

You're asking a lot Lou. The ledge is like a comfy old recliner for some. |

Oh, I know it, they’re not very talented and will be outclassed most nights. Plus they’ll be out coached too.
It’s a blog numb nuts, and we’re here for some fun. Now go unbunch your panties and relax. |

Only 1 game
but looking at this team
I see nothing to be excited about present or future
- small & slow
-.unproven couch & a GM who is over his head.

How about go (frank) yourself bumhole. It's the same poop with you every (frank)ing blog. We get it you're a great hockey mind that's why you have such a high position on an NHL club. - GPHawksfan
Dude, chill out. Don’t you have some cows to milk or cattle to rustle? |

Come on face it D it’s easier and more fun getting your blood pressure up and sitting on the ledge than it is putting things in perspective. The fact the team is rebuilding with a number of very young inexperienced players with some injuries to two of the Hawks best players. This year, and probably next season the hawks won’t be competitive. As a fan I set my expectations from expecting a dominant winning team to watching the team rebuild. |

For sure, if the Hawks have Toews and Dach they’d probably losing only 3-0. |

Certainly. D communication is a struggle right now. It’s gonna be rough, but I’ve liked Mitchell, Suter, Walmark, the 4th line, and Zadorov thus far.
Boqvist has been an adventure. He needs to clean that up otherwise Carlsson or Beaudin will happily take his spot. |

If we only had Jimmy Hayes and Jeremy Morin...we would already be at the next level. |

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Boqvist sit next game. He’d be back in the lineup soon, but a message needs to be sent.
Edit: DeBrincat has looked better as the game has progressed. |

The message should be “when the AHL starts, you’re in Rockford”. |

Against VGK last August, we saw how far they need to go to play with the Knights.
Tonite, we see how far they need to go to play with the Bolts.
Not just 5-0: TB is controlling the play all over the ice - easy exits and entries (the Hawks can’t do either against them), a forecheck that doesn’t allow the Hawks any transition, Hawks one-an-done on Vasilevsky.
Colliton has work to do. |
