I grew up with Corel and remember knowing nothing of computers when my brother helped me build my first one. He insisted I get Office as Corel was obsolete and I ignorantly disagreed. He decided to ignore me and not tell me and get Office instead. Years later I taught him Excel, PowerPoint and Access. Funny how that happens

No he knew it was what the world was trending towards but outside of Word and basic Excel functions he had little use for it. I ended up having to learn it for school and taught him what he needed. Just amused me that I was comfortable with Word Perfect so I didn't want to learn a new system even if that's where the whole world was headed
