2 completely screened PP goals where the Philly player couldn't have been more comfortable and two defensive gaffes. That's pretty rough.

Yea exact why I said our PK sucked. Just leaving guys in front to tip/screen is not good PK'ing

I'll give you this... They're not playing a style that's conducive to winning with aging stars. I think they have enough talent, but they really need to focus on preventing goals. I said this yesterday.

The forwards are built this way. The defense is not. That's why I'm not bullish. The personnel isn't conducive to going in one direction or another.

Well the 3rd line was strong, 4th was ok I thought, and pretty much everything else aside from Sid was garbage. Hopefully they can shake this off quick.

How the Flyers used Gustafson is how the Pens should use Matheson. Sheltered bottom pair minutes and used for offensive situations.

It's crazy to me that if Rikk Rude was the 3rd pairing tonight they really might of won that... Those two D men, Math n Ceci were either directly or indirectly involved in most all of the goals against hahah oh man. Feels like déjà vu... One game, yes, but let's just hope Sullivan has found a pair to sit/bench/scratch this sh!t if it continues... Which I'm not holding my breath on...

They are more than capable of playing tight checking hockey. They did it for most of last season. I just don't know if the players will ever be committed to it again.

Hopefully the 4th line can improve when Rodrigues joins that line. I'm not concerned with the top lines, I think they'll be ok. Scevior blows

Fortunately we won't HAVE to deal with both as I think with Ceci's salary he will be benched. Matheson though should be on the third pair with Ruhwedal.

Yeah....Scevior blows. I think I would flip Rod and Laff.

Yea until Kap can play I agree just throw Laff up there. I was for Tanev up there until our third line played really well, so dont wanna break that up quite yet. Wanna see if they can be pretty consistent.

What a weak a$$ performance by Jarry tonight. We can’t afford this. He should stop more pucks. Period.

I liked what I saw from them too. Poor Blueger is stuck on a bad line.

Geno is definitely a step or two slower than he was in August. That was only 5 months ago so I'm not sure whats up with that.

I thought the same, Dumo with a ton of turnovers. Hoping this is first game jitters but ****
