100%. Fans remember when he was a 4 or 5 on this team a few years back. But that was the worst defence the organization has ever assembled. Times have changed. We have kids on the taxi squad that are more deserving of a spot. Not to mention he isn’t signing for $700k and he is an entitled little b!tch

I kind of feel bad guy for guys like Button and Ferraro. They are basically asked to give scouting reports on every player in the league and prospects in world juniors and every other league in the world. There's just no way they know about 1200 different players around the world.

Even me "super scout" will totally admit, I know very little about most East teams players outside of Canada with the exception of a few.

and after the draft and the 60 players I have on my board turns into about 5 and whatever the Canucks draft.

I don't know what you are looking at ? He is a big man that doesn't play a big mans game but he is still a big man in front of the net and hard to get around. He plays the PK so it is not like he is a pylon.

If he is terrible it will show in camp and then end of discussion. All I am saying is bring him in and take a look. Not a big issue.

Maybe they should have 4 guys for 1 for each division. Then they might know something about the players they are talking about and the prospects that the team has. Maybe they wouldn't be so wrong all the time.

Imagine if all 4 Western teams made the playoffs? Toronto better get better goaltending and D than they had last night because they sure looked slow.

I know what you are saying but I have questions. I will keep in mind that it is game one but I thought Thorton really slowed down Matthews line .

Nylander looks really good but Tavares has been just above average in the two games I seen. Again still very early.

Their back 6 forwards are slower than last year for sure. I am sure they will get better but last night was unimpressive .
