So true. Time for Canucks fans to get over eastern bias and just accept it. It ain’t changing. All the better when Canucks are the last Canadian team standing and the “experts” and “insiders” are scrambling for excuses.

Sets up a beautiful cue for #teamwhiner here though...if the Nucks lose it'll be Marky, Marky, Marky...where are you??
- LordHumungous

Why, did Marky sign somewhere else?

I refuse to watch a Leaf game unless they’re playing the Canucks....(frank) them!

TBH I don't give a rats ass about what the media think. They will always be pro TOR . Tor was the team I thought could be the biggest challenge but they traded away a lot of speed.

Only one period but loving it so far.

Tor use to overwhelm opponents with speed and shots and so far look slow. Game one.

Both teams are in our division. Might as well see what we're going to face.

Classy move by Simmonds not clocking the guy trying to get back up.

10 shots by Leafs

I still think they are bad but I like Gallagher and a few others. I still say they don't make the playoffs.

They are beating a bad team tonight

When I watched them against the Flyers in the play-in round they were quick, played their systems very well and had great goaltending. They’re better than you think because they play a good team game.

Might be the key, has Toronto taken a real step backwards this year. The PK is looking just bad tonight.

There is nothing outstanding tonight

They are faster than a slow Leafs team . Suziki got a nice PP goal from difficult angle . and the other two goals meh.

Suzuki is a good player but he is not elite yet.

Good thing the Canucks have some really overpaid elite penalty killers
