Short camp and preseason. Why on earth would coaching staff want to go with guys with proven chemistry?

Oilers are being underestimated for sure but the reason unfortunately is the Oilers are coming off a terrible play in performance and while they have gotten more goals scoring that really wasn't the concern coming into this year. Goals against is.

We know bringing in Barrie and Turris helps reduce goals against.... Losing Klefbom and replacing him with Jones... Caleb Jones, is a sure fire way to improve GA too right?

The team is sorta better on paper but it's holes are even bigger this to last and you can't expect near historically special teams to cover for it.

Having said all that Leafs are not much better and neither is the rest of the division. Should be a lot of high scoring games.

I’m really excited about watching more Oilers games. Since I left Alberta in 2014 I don’t see them as much because of this awful time zone here.

When I lived in Edmonton I’d get home at 5, just in time for the leafs game and follow that up with the Oilers game. It was heaven for me.
