At the end of the day, they usually end up being as bad for everyone.

Yeah, I have to agree here.

The reffing was bad, on both sides for sure, but it was "more bad" against the Leafs.

I franking hate the Chris Pronger, Zdeno Chara (could list another 30 defencemen) "clearing the crease" crosschecking play - FFS, it's crosschecking. Have the stones to call it.

I promise - it will lead to more entertaining hockey.

Bogo had a brutal game, Simmonds was decent and the upper cut works ok. Chiarot has a big size advantage but took a couple of unanswered shots. On the plus side Nylander was great, could have easily had a hatty.

I agree with that. New team and he’s a missing piece the leafs are missing. Stay at home defensemen that doesn’t mind pushing guys out of the crease. Took a couple penalties but the beginning of the year is always a poop show with the refs trying to figure what they let go and what they call.
