Joe Thornton on Wayne Simmonds fight: "It pretty much changed the whole game."
Facking media eh. - Fakepartofme
It's a poloticall y correct safe answer when asked the question. Doesn't change the fact. |

I'd feel much more sympathy for him if he didn't try to knee Anderson during the game.

that was to the thigh, not the knee.... Geez, Anderson doubles his goal total from a year ago and all of a sudden, he's an all-star? - PatC80
He is really good, that's why I try not to look at hockey DB all the time |

My friend got covid, she lives with her bf. 16 days later and hes tested negative twice and never got it.

That is quite frequent from those I know who have tested positive or someone in their family tested positive. |

I think we have like 9 more games of last night! I was shocked the Leafs scored 5 against Price. He played pretty well. - Aaron_85
He did plenty of great saves.
Can't really blame him for any goals against.
2 great shots by Nylander (that 2nd one with Edmondsuntont's broken stick, he took his sweet time and placed it perfectly)
1 unexpected turnover with a guy alone in front of the net
1 great deviation by Tavares.
A 2 on 1 in OT.
Stats don't look great but he was solid. |

He hasn't been sick in years so there's that. He is an extremely healthy dude, had a positive mindset.
But yeah I have heard of a few incidents like that as well. |

I'll give goalies a 3-4 game grace period.
Hart looked brutal as well. Have to give them and the veterans some time. |

it was clear that Matthews just missed his check.. It's not like he's known for his physical play. |

Both Barabanov and Holl made good blocks late in the game👍👍 - mr.sir
I do want to see more of him...so far he looks like a Par Lindholm though.
Which isnt the worst thing but he needs to show some offence to stay in the NHL. His D looked good. |

I actually didn't think dermott was that great, and I've been a dermott supporter. That, and bogo doesn't have to eat another human every single game to have his presence felt back there. Him stepping on the ice is a check and balance to other players in our own end.
Agreed on the dumb penalties though, if that became the regular I would probably sit him eventually.
To each their own though. 🤷♂️ - joel878
I thought Dermott played well. Not great or anything. For sure there's 2 other guys that should be coming out of the lineup before he does, though.
Hope Lehtonen gets a game on the weekend and one of those 2 are sitting. |

Brodie did his job last night, allowed Rielly to be a rover on the ice.
They didnt get thumped on defending the rush which has been a common theme for his pairing since Hainsey left. |
