I never quite understood why he got the hammer.

I can't remember the details, but there was also a blatant high stick in the first or second period that should have been called - a Canadien ate some lumber in front of our net, and the Leafs exited the zone.

Remember: the refs didn't have any exhibition games either.

I'm puzzled by Gigsie's and Patzer's posts saying that Uggie flip-flopped.

My experience with him was always that he would refuse to admit he was wrong - ever.

He would stick with his narrative in the face of overwhelming proof he was wrong.

I read he had signed there some time ago but admittedly I forgot until that goal as well

I may have read about him being in St. Louis but the news was so irrelevant to me that it was completely erased from my memory.

But its pretty clear that people here struggle with anyone who has a different opinion than theirs. Its pack mentality and they resort the the most petty insults. Its sad really.

What you don’t know is that UG was addressed personally by not only myself, but other mods, and EO as well... multiple times... so it wasn’t just his behaviour but the fact that he was blatantly disregarding the fact that the site was growing tired of him and that he was on thin ice. So after showing he had no intention of adjusting his behaviour the guys at the top perma-banned the account.

Not my call and personally a big no thanks to that

Accurate but I would add that he would call you out as an imbecile if you didn't agree with him. Self serving assuredness is annoying in that situation.

I certainly understand the ban from a business perspective - he was scaring away customers.
