Hahah clearly not everyone is pretending to be concerned. I just noticed that Rust is with Sid. Who did they slot with Geno?

Lol, I'm in that harsh mood tonight.

Yeah, he looks awkward there. Not liking it, either, especially since he was looking shaky to start the year on his strong side.

I agree with this. Pretty disappointed in all 3 of our top defensemen to be honest so far.

Simon was good at driving offense as well as solid back-checker and creating turnovers.
- Rinosaur

Simon was offered a contract, he thought he was worth more on the open market and didnt take it. What a stupid move on his part, you're riding shotgun with Sidney Crosby and you greed yourself into a league min contract that will be his last in the NHL.

In other words a good third liner, tops.

That’s the double edged sword of being trusted by the coach. You’re trusted to the point you get put in a bad situation because you’re expected to handle it. That’s eventually what got Maatta ran out of town.

Perfect example of we talked about briefly a day or two ago. The Pens are easy to play against. No way a man should still be standing in the blue paint getting a couple whacks at the puck.

A good third liner who could play in the top six when necessary, which is a good thing to have. ERod is a bum. I said when they got him originally. I said it when they signed him again and I'll keep saying it.

Especially for the money I'm taking Sheary and Simon over Jank and ERod.

Marino has struggled on his off-side and had a few questionable periods from the start, but Dumo and Letang have really been not good since the season started.

That puck had eyes. Hard work will get you lucky sometimes. Great work by Tanev. Give that man a raise.

Yeah... It's funny. Before McCaan scored there, I made a mental note that Tanev didn't let that guy breath. A lot of players would have done the fly by. Tanev took him hard into the wall. That's why I think Tanev would be a good "occasional" top line player.

Not to parrot Errey, but that's why you just get pucks on net. Too often the Pens are looking for that perfect play. Get pucks on the net and get dirty.

It shouldn’t but it shocks me that Sully decides it’s better to screw with our young possibly best defenseman having him play his off side rather than having one of the two veterans who are 6/7 D at best play their off side...

I just noticed on the lead in to the break a Ranger screened his goalie. Lucky but as I said a hard working goal.

Aside from Ceci's gaff, he's honestly not been bad. He hasn't been great or anything, but I honestly think he's been ok. Marino just looks lost on his off-side and that's hurting that pair.

I think you need to put POJ with Marino.
