Other than 1 SOG in game 1 he really hasn’t done much besides make a few lazy passes and get shoved around all over the ice. Looking like his stats may have been a product of his line mates in Toronto. Hope not, but I haven’t seen anything to give me faith that he can be a top 6 wing here.

Just realized those stupid ads on the ice are digitally imposed (if that’s the right term). I thought it looked a bit too clear, then saw it not smooth when the camera panned.. then it magically changed. It’s intrusive and terrible.

Lol my overanalyzation from what I’ve seen is that guy is NOT a top 6 winger. Fortunately we should have 4 guys better than him in Holtz, Bratt, one or both of Gusev/Palms, Sharangovich, and we’ll see with Foote and Mercer. I’m afraid to add Wood to that list.
