I wish you were right, this game tonight is so bad I ought to get part of my monthly cable bill refunded. Both teams are awful, with 6 shots between them in the 1st.

If it wasn't for Korpisalo and the fact the Hawks have had more blanks than a Scrabble game it would 7-2 Chicago. Columbus is awful, and if not for our goalies we would be the worst team in the NHL. We can't skate, can't pass, we play dump and lose the puck, and I wouldn't be surprised (I know it's 2021) if Torts has a bag skate tomorrow.

Maybe they will win, and i hope they play a great 3rd period, but this game is awful. I hope Laine is ready to go, becuase he's going to play 30 minutes a night on three different lines once he can play, the team is that bad.

Anyone know where the draft predictor machines are, we're going to be a lottery team.

Well, at least the CBJ won and they didn't get buried in the 3rd period. Torts was very thankful and not really angry after the game, obviously he saw some things I didn't, and it was the first back-to-back of the season.

Sunday is a massive game since the next two are with Dallas, and then the two after that are with Carolina I assume. They are obviously the 2nd and 3rd best teams in the division and after the way Nashville trashed us it's all uphill to even get a playoff spot.

I guess we should feel fortunate not to be in the East this year, the way that division is playing out we would already be buried behind Buffalo and Pittsburgh, fighting for the #1 pick.

I’m I’m practically considering those two stars games as a write off, not sure if they are that good or they got the extra rest due to covid protocols.

Not trying to be negative all the time, but it is frustrating to watch the CBJ now. Losing to Chicago last night was awful, and now we get to see Dallas and Carolina. It was fun being at the top of the slide for a while, but it will be a long way down now.

(Of course there might be hope, if Laine gets so hot he melts the ice starting Tuesday).
