Be interesting to see how synergy Ralph plays this with Asplund and Bryson.
- Buff36

the team is quicker with casey and asplund in the lineup

when rieder comes back and getting skinner in the lineup, 2 guys need to come out

IMO okposo and sheahan

we know that will not happen

If I had to pick a 3rd favorite attribute, it's that Sam plays almost identically to Pominville but he's more likeable because he has a better personality

Casey needs to hit the bike and do some pull ups gosh darn it. He looks like Phil the thrill out there but no skill.

he's fine to place on the taxi squad in case of injuries

they have too many young prospects that need to get a real shot with the club

It was understandable, but at some point you have to trust the youngins to come through. Would of been nice to just throw Asplund there all year. He definitely could of handled it.

his fancy stats with rieder is ok if you remove okposo from the line

personally I would move cozens to second line center, staal to third line center and drop eakin to the 4th line

Skinner- Eichel- Sam
Hall-Staal- Cozens
Reider - Asplund - VO
Mitts-Sheahan- Lazar

I'd run this when Reider is back but it will not happen.

And maybe, just maybe...

Skinner. Lazar. Asplund

Looks better and achieves more? Worth a shot at least.

Not hard to have a better personality than imitation vanilla Pominville, god that dude had a sterile personality.

I'd say that's a decent comparison.
Sam is bigger and stronger , pommer had a better shot.
One team was always winning, the other team won 2 of the last 3.

Loved Sam's game the past few. Aside from the skilled plays ( goal of the year) his effort is there. Skating hard, around the net ect. Good ice awareness.

Wonder if the skimmer benching lit a fire?
