I was just thinking about what the problem is for Goose. He is barely visible out there. He hasn't been doing anything on any line he's on so far this season.

The Devils came out flying but have been getting dominated since. The 3rd has been all Caps.

We were manhandled 5v5 today too. Our game is based around skating and we only had it for the first period, really. We're playing a lot of games in a short period of time and it's really going to test if our team has the conditioning to play this way consistently.

Dreaded 2 goal lead. They turtled after that and Washington turned it on. Some positives but too many shots against and an awful PK for this one

To be fair to this team, we are in one of the best divisions in the league playing these teams multiple times.

I mean they were completely gassed late in the 2nd and most of the 3rd. Gonna happen a lot this season which is why you need your special teams more than ever, and the PK cost them today. All 4 of our D that weren't Smith and Severson were caved in today, but you're up 2-0 more than halfway through the game, you need to bury them and not let them back. They're a young team, they'll learn.

Which in this super condensed schedule, they aren't going to practice much at all so they won't really get to work on the special teams. Just a ton of video review. So im not sure if it will actually get much better throughout the year

Devil's touched the puck 5 times, no control and just sat back

Took a couple penalties and well a peewee team can score the way our PK has played this year

We started with I believe 7 shots before caps had one and were outshot 42-17 at one point

I truly enjoyed 2 periods of hockey today, ruined by the PK - really it usually takes the other team 30 second or less to score.

The Doc Emerick special is great and reviving me though.
