He has all the tools, just lacks creativity, and a deceptive shot. He is solid on the Wing. Someone mentioned a year or so ago, that they'd like to see Zacha play D. While it is hard to fathom, his skill set, skating, and size all do add up to a fantastic stay-at-home D. It will never happen, but if I could see one player switching their sides on the bench, it would be Zacha

I agree. As much as I dislike the Rags, this is a rumor that is nearly a decade old, and just now is causing him to step away from hockey? I know he has alot of anti-putin stuff out there as well, but there has to be more behind his LOA. The timing of this all doesn't make sense, nor is there anything concrete to back it up.

Not to make light of the accused violence, but 10 years ago, Panarin looked like a 10 year old boy, and most Russian ladies could probably have taken the kid on at that point in time. Who knows who initiated the violence, if any even took place at all. But why is this coming out 10 years after the fact?

Hey listen, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Somewhat surprised that Larry Brooks just assumed it was false or fabricated as he reported. Maybe it is false - but that is not the slant I would just assume without facts. And in today's society, the "10 years ago" is irrelevant as numerous celebrities, CEOs, etc. are being held accountable/prosecuted for stuff done longer ago than that.

In the end, we will just have to wait for the facts to come out.

Maltsev didn't seem as effective with Sharangovich out, maybe keep those two together moving forward.

Ya it could definitely be something along those lines. Something seems very fishy with the timing of all of this, and people who speak against Putin seem to be on the wrong side of the soil..... Hopefully he can get his family members out of there sooner than later if they are being threatened as a result of his political stance. What a gongshow over there.
