I went to a karaoke bar when I was in Russia. All the Russians were doing death metal songs because apparently death metal is super in in Russia. Out of curiosity I convinced a guy we were with from the hostel to do a a stupid 90s pop song to see what would happen. The natives were not amused.

He looks like a total bust. Kakko doesn't look like he'll fit the bill either, but I can see him becoming a solid middle-six winger, but man, Laf just looks awful.

I haven't seen enough of him to decide if he is a bust. Obviously struggling but he is what, 19? He has dominated at every level, not every player does a Crosby and immediately scores 100 points.

I'd trade a hell of a lot to try to get him.

I'm probably skeptical enough to not give up a 1st Overall premium for him, but if I were a Rangers fan I'd probably chill on him. The shut down disproportionally affects rookies coming into a new league and old guys that need every resource to stay fit. He did look completely invisible when we played NYR, though, and if he doesn't come out the gate next season I'll probably start calling bust.
