Skinner sucks. Another Okposo anchor around the teams neck. Contracts should be performance driven, ex. You score in the top 10 you get top 10 next year.

An untradeable contract, and a player who is playing well well below his pay grade, that he never should've got.sorry Sabres fans I'd say ur screwed until he decides to retire

Screwed until this coach decides to retire, he's not the only one not producing. Hall should take a seat next.

The guy is 28 years old, he isn't going to retire. He is either collecting every penny, or is getting bought out.

Because of the way his salary and bonus are structed, it makes no sense to buy him out until after next season. Cap hit of 8.9 million next year, even if bought out.

Hopefully he waves his NMC and we can get the Kraken to take him, Botts is there.

That's what I was kinda getting at.2 seasons left before hes sensible to be bought out, that's alot of cap for a healthy scratch.their only hope is for Seattle to take him

Skinner's contract has to be the worst in the league. He will be making $500k less than Malkin until 2027. It probably won't be feasible to buy him out until about 2025. He had a concussion/injury history long before this deal.

Put anyone with lazar and sheahan and you’ll get the same production. Again Krueger isn’t a NHL Coach, more like an executive at this stage more than anything. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know how to get production out of him! One game with actual offensively skilled players then sending him back down does no good for anyone to get out of a slump! Oh and this is BY FAR THE MOST RUN ON article I’ve ever seen by ANYONE one this site! OOF!

The Sabres have given up that's obvious and I find It funny that the socalled experts are starting to say trade Eichel as If that will solve bad coaching and atrocious ownership, Ownership Is the biggest problem with this team and the Sabres are dead In the water until the team Is sold.

@firelarry. When are you going to start actually blaming Skinner instead of everybody else for his failures. Tobias rieder has played with Sheehan and Lazar and he has three goals. Skinner maybe you forgot this already he played on the top two lines all of last year and gave us 14 goals. Maybe sitting his ass for one game might send a message it looks doubtful because he's complaining already. Honestly zemgus girgensons has been more productive for us than Skinner and he hasn't played a single game this year. Girgensons is a plus-minus of 0 and is long-term injured reserve salary gives us 2.2 million dollars in case we need it. Skinner has one assist and makes 9 million dollars. He had a great contract Year got paid and went on vacation. When I'd rather see a career AHL player work their tail off instead of Skinner we definitely have a problem. You say coaching I say the coach doesn't score goals and the fact that he's let him stick up the ice for this many games already you should be giving him credit for at least trying him on all those different lines hoping something would work
