I think many sens fans were enamoured with chabot when he had his hot streak in scoring 2 years ago. Thats all it ever amounted to though, a hot streak. I think chabot is just the next in a long line of overated sens dmen (cowen and ceci were both lauded by sens fans, along with karlsson being way overated, along with the insane hype curtis lazar got) and young players. Although to be fair he makes a fine second pairing dman.

Projected Final Standings (for draft)

1. OTT - 31 pts
2. DET - 36 pts
3. VAN - 46 pts
4. NSH - 46 pts
5. ANA - 47 pts
6. BUF - 48 pts

Question who would be your top 3 prospects (atm) for the 2021 draft?

Sens fans can only hope dorion doesnt pull another blunder like jake sanderson. Best of luck to sens fans, that he doesnt do that again.

The talent was pretty even you could argue 5-10. Sanderson looks fine and is ideal for the pro game. He is at minimum a top 4 which is exactly what they need

Love those kids!

But, as I said earlier, this is not a very good Montreal team.

Love the shootout. Although I think I'd go Batherson over Tkachuk there.

Being in the golden triangle, I get the Leafs, Sens and Habs regionally. I've watched all of the Leafs games, but have also seen most of the Habs and Sens games. Having friends who are fans of both the Sens and Habs, I put a question to them. If you could have either roster, Habs or Sens, who would you pick? Of course, the Habs fans are living off of their last century history and few of them would pick the Sens. After looking at the two rosters and watched them play, as a Leafs fan, I figured that I had an objective idea of who I think has the brighter future.

Looking at the Habs, I see some great veterans, Price, Weber, Perry. They have some decent, in their prime players. However, looking forward 3 years, I'd really prefer the Sens roster. They have two blue chip young defensemen and three great young forwards that are just starting out. They play with dogged determination and physically. Add in the right veterans and a few more great young player and they're a contender to make the playoffs. The Habs core are in their 30's and their current players in their prime are approaching 30. Yes, they do have a few good pieces, but the Sens prospects are possible stars. I know that the Habs fans are going to light me up over this, but unless the Habs decide to not deal off their core over 30 veterans, they'll spin their wheels and never be good enough to go past the first round of the playoffs, or never be bad enough to get a franchise player to lead them to a championship. As a Leafs fan, I hope to see all three teams competitive, but between the two main rivals, I see the Sens as the great challenger to the Leafs current dominance in this Northern division going forward, until the league realigns in the future.
