Mostly, dislike extreme reactionary responses without reason. Currently, coined cancel culture.
And yes, mostly to joke on cancel culture, not applying to Panarin.
I just would hate if it got applied.

Add temperamental and it would be complete.

it's a double edged sword. are there people whose past actions come to light and probably deserve to be ostracized for it when it does? Sure. Are there too many cases of people being "cancelled" unfairly and unnecessarily? Most probably. Does the latter "cancel" (for lack of a better term) the former? I don't think so. Can't just say that as a society we are never going to "cancel" a person no matter how much evidence or how egregious the behavior was because then that implies acceptance of anything. It's a fine line that is never going to be perfectly balanced since people in general are stupid and reactionary.

All of that is to say that the above has literally nothing to do with what is happening with Panarin right now

EDIT: The whole double edged sword saying got me thinking.... Why was there ever a single edged sword? Seems like you're 50% less efficient

Single edge seemed to work alright for Samurai.
...except that they were all killed off...

Eklund says the Rangers would "love" to talk to Claude Julien, think there is any truth to that or he's just blowing smoke per usual.

hey guys,

i asked this once before but never saw a reply. sorry to keep bugging you but i have a fantasy question.

I have zibby in a keeper league. all i have to judge by are his stats, which suck ass. i haven't seen a game to know why his stats suck.

i was offered horvat straight up for him. this year, horvat's stats are much better, but clearly zibby is the more offensively talented player.

so, zibby for horvat straight up, yay or nay?

Zib has honestly looked really bad. He’s had a ton of chances but looks lost at times and is lacking confidence. Still expect him to turn it around but think last year was an anomaly. Horvat seems safer but Zib still has more upside, depends if you want to risk it.

This is a fair take.
I would add that I also believe that last year was an anomaly for Zib. But, I also feel that this year is one, as well.
From 2012 to 2019, he hovered around a shooting %age between 10.5 and 12.7. Last year he was at 19.7. So far this year, 4.3%. I think you can take from this that he will return to what is a higher than average shooting percentage over time.

He's gotten robbed on some of his good chances, but he's also whiffing one timers and shots that last year seemed to go in. How long can you keep him for after this season? If it's only 1 more year might not be bad to move on, if it's a few probably decent bet to hold him. I doubt he's going to have a Jonathan Cheechoo type fall off to his career.

Well the Rangers may do well the first half of the game because I cannot be on to watch it. But the second half will be a poop show once I turn it on.

Superstitious meddling engaged.

A single edge sword might have much more strength because of thickness of the spine, where a double edged sword while deadlier and easier to wield might not have the same strength. I watch too much Forged in Fire.
- mdw7413

Can you really watch too much Forged in Fire?
