Which is very similar to boudreau. He’s missed the playoffs twice im pretty sure. I’m just saying, you aren’t on that level until you win. As was with Trots and lots of good coaches over the years. Q is unreal, but he wasn’t considered one of the best until Chicago.

Really? Interesting fact, Q has never had a losing season as a head coach. Never.

STL - 593G 307W 191L 77T 18OTL (seven seasons/seven playoff appearances)
COL - 246G 131W 92L 23OTL (three seasons/two playoff appearances)
CHI - 797G 452W 249L 96OTL (ten seasons/nine playoff appearances
three Stanley Cups)
FLA - 69G 35W 26L 8OTL (one season/one playoff appearance)

The Victoria Admirals(U-13) are representing BC for the Good Deeds Cup. The charity they have chosen is one that helps keep sick kids closer to their families on the island.
Hopefully they get lots of votes from the hockeybuzz crowd.

Good for them. I’m going to cheer for the other bad Canadian team. Especially against overrated MTL

Let's be honest, are there any good Canadian teams? Even with the playoff format guaranteeing a Canadian team getting into the final four, I don't think a Canadian team will get into the Cup final let alone win a Cup.

Holy (frank), sports radio is on fire with Matthews vs McDavid, Toronto media all pro AM and all others CM. It’s not even close IMO, McDavid is in a class of his own.

I think they're both incomplete players.

It's a step down from the Crosby vs Ovi debate (in their prime).

It'd be interesting to see what McDavid could do on a competent team.

Every players an incomplete player, well maybe not Bob Gainey, he was the epitome of almost perfect, however, McDavid is +50 in 369 games with 500 points, he’s exactly on Crosby’s level.

Matthews is better defensively but he’s simply a great goal scorer, much like Stamkos. He has 11 assists, he's a number one center, he doesn’t make others around him better. IMO Marner is a more complete player.

I hate to say it but TO is pretty strong. They could make some noise if Anderson doesn’t choke again

IMO prime Crosby > prime McDavid, however that might be tainted by it also being Pittsburgh vs Edmonton.

The Matthews vs Ovi debate is a bit closer overall, as the first few years Ovi just didn't care about defense lol... but I'd still say Ovi

Hockey’s a team game, your GM sets up your success more than you do. The numbers dictate Crosby and McDavid are generational talents very much on the same level.

Macjesus is the best offensive player of all time but Crosby is better as he is well rounded. Macjesus is a worst defender than Quinn

I always love the generational debate, as some seem to think there Can be, or are, 10 generational players at one time.

Well he won’t. Have a quick look at some goalie tape from the 80’s. Gretzky is no where near Macdsvids abilities. Lemieux is also better

True, but the same way Pitts was set up for success, Edmonton has been set up to rely on McDavid to be their offense. Crosby was/is relied on in more situations than just scoring... and they have scored the same.

If McDavid is the better offensive player, but he has the same amount of points as Crosby... doesn't that make Crosby the better player overall?

Imagine a modern goalie back then? Carey Price would have like a 10 game shutout streak... hockey was much worse back then

Gretzky clearly isn't as fast/skilled as McDavid, but that's just an era thing.
