While I agree, and recognize that Green pushed for (either) a) specific players or b) specific styles of player - so he has the team he wanted, I believe he could actually do well with a better group of players.

So for me, it’s Benning who has to go, and Aqua just needs to get out of his own way and hire competent people who know this business better than he does, and let them do their thing.

As of right now it's much more Green than it is Benning. Benning has iced a club that has the ability to win as we have seen last year...Green just can't get them to listen or go to the next level. No way the club is this bad. A decent, seasoned coach and a new voice in the room is what's needed currently. Changing Benning and pining for roster changes won't do much at this point. You can see it in the body language of the club on the bench after three blown leads 2-0, 2-0, 3-0...back to back to back a good coach should be able to get the club to play smart hockey and lock games down. People may not like 'boring' Hockey or the processes involved but if it produces wins so be it. It's Green right now..and I honestly don't think he gives a sh!t without a contract offer on the table which is also a factor IMO.

What's wrong with Creed? Their poignant lyrics and soothing melodies have given me strength to get through some tough times. If I were the DJ for the Canucks that's all we'd be listening to right now.

Just bugging you Creed has some OK stuff albeit a tad repetitive. If music gets you through tough times that's the important thing.

Up the Irons!!

Benning acquired the players that Green can't coach. Benning also hired Green without interviewing anyone.

I'll give you a serious recommendation. If you can get your mitts on the first Frank Black and the Catholics album on vinyl, do it. Every time I listen to it it's like they're playing live in my living room. Analog bliss.

Which album?>

Thx much I will hunt it down. I just installed a new MC cartridge on the TT and man it is breaking in beautifully...vinyl is still truly the best for pure fidelity...

Check out this guy the next time you need a musical break..

They're trending upwards. FA can tweet what he likes, MTL made a change because the result's weren't meeting expectations. We're trending toward a top ten pick.

Just woke up and read that

Who would have thought they would go before our coaches? Green and Benning have outlasted the Habs and TSN 1040

- VANTEL

It's just about money Vantel. Doesn't wanna pay Benning and another gm or green and another coach

Good for Montreal for acting immediately. Looks like a bit of a desperation move . Their GM knows he is on the hot seat but I like Burrows so I am happy he got the job he wants.

I think everyone is on board with up coming changes just find the right people . The year is pretty well shot so why not continue and take your top five pick.

So an owner doesn't want to spend more money on an already wasted year?

Yup, something obviously is wrong with the team, best to make changes in the offseason. Focus on the draft.

If that was the case they wouldn't have almost beat Vegas to make the Conference finals last year. Sure losing Marky and Tanev has impact but losing Stecher Leivo and TT have zero impact. We replaced Tanev with Schmidt who has been good enough so far an improving. And now we are seeing what over-working Marky is doing in CGY. No way this club should be this bad just losing Marky and Tanev lol. IMO.

Too many on here get so bent out of shape over bad contracts they fail to see the big picture of what is actually going on. This club is zoning out. You could see it on their faces after the blown lead. You just knew that EDM was going to score that 4th goal. They need a systems and attitude change before we start firing GM's lol

This is one big screwed up year . A lot of teams have surprised me how poorly they are playing.

I have seen a few good things on the Canucks like OJ Hoglander Schmidt (coming around now) Demko (over all).

Some shocking things is Hughes is not a good Dman and he is suppose to get a raise. Miller has been a floater. His numbers are good point wise but he looks brutal at certain times.

It has a gold cover. Self titled. Recorded live in the studio to a 2 track. Ironically enough I'm waiting for a new stylus to arrive from Michigan. My first nude elliptical, generic because I'm rocking a Shure M75. It's in customs right now. My wife would kill me if I spent the dough on a moving coil. But honestly the M75 is awesome for what I listen to.

Yeah, I’m not convinced. They were never in the Vegas series, and punched above their weight class in the St.L series.

I do agree they were outplayed at times in both series but you don't take out the cup champs and take a pretty deep Vegas club to 7 games by fluke.

This one? Could only find the CD so far...

Ya I have about 14 hours on the new MC cartridge it is sounding exceptional much better than my cheaper high output MM that was around $500. The new MC is an Ortofon Cadenza red and wasn't cheap lol...best if the GF doesn't know...
