Matt Ross: Panthers and Stars - Part 2

Im so torn about this divisional format. On one hand i love that the latest game is like 830 but i must say that i hate not really knowing how we stack up against all the other teams. And i really hate not giving toronto their yearly beat down. Lets go boys another good game please. A larger goal differential would be more enjoyable for my ease of blood pressure please and thanks

Khudobin’s play last game reminded me of watching Lu during his first tour of duty as a Panther. He’d stop 50, but FL would lose 2-1.

That second period was the best I've seen the Panthers play, maybe ever. That's exciting and fun, but they should have had a lot more than 2 goals.

Q is really putting this thing together. With more speed, grit, depth, and experience, I think they are going to surpass the 2015-16 team that won the division.

The incredible thing is that it's not just the new guys. Just about everything that I ranted about after the Islanders series is improved this year. Barkov is playing at a whole new level and learning to dominate for long stretches. Huby seems comfortable all over, has his best vision every night, and is delivering points by the bucket (no signs of multi-game droughts). Ekblad has become the true #1 that we'd hoped for when drafted. Even Yandle is improving and just removing the deflating disasters and lack-of-effort plays from his game has huge positive effects. This hasn't been the same Panthers team where the stars disappear in the big game.

Another wasted evening. Terrible powerplays lately. Another game of duclair depleting his shooting percentage. I personally wouldnt have kept driedger out with only 7 seconds left on the powerplay

Game was over less than a minute in. Super lame

Unbelievable Dallas’ goalie over these two games vs FL stopped 90 of 92 shots.
