If you want to see a team coached in an "offensive manner", check out the Sabres.

More offensive manner? I think they just want to win hockey games and not be a complete mess in the defensive zone.

WOW! Very interesting move, you have to admire a GM that pushes forward.

you mean a GM who throws coaches under the bus to cover for his poor performance

Je pense les Canidiens sont devenus plus excitants, le directeur general pousse pour l’excellence.

C'est pas en disant que c'est un problème d'attitude dans le vestiaire que ça va ''pousser vers l'excellence''

Bergevin is a roll of finally doing a great job for the last year or so. He gave all the tools missing to that team to compete. All recent signings and trades have been better than expected. It worked well on the ice until all the league (canadian division) has figured out Julien and Muller's predictable offensive system.

That said, Bergevin is playing his last card before it's his turn, can't deny that.

Rob Ray said " Ralph is finally getting the feel for the players". He said that 2 nights ago.

Move along nothing to see here in Buffalo.

Would a coaching change make any difference with that roster?

after years of poop drafting, poor trades, awful contract extensions.....the GM finally makes a couple of decent moves and the team still sucks.

for sure Julien wasn't great, but you're blind if you think that Bergevin isn't a big part of the problem in Montreal

sergachev for Drouin is one of the worst trades the NHL has seen in the last decade
