I am at the point where I will still cheer for them to win(like I always do, even when I want to finish low and get the best pick possible) but I will not be upset if they lose. |

You or anyone are entitled to your opinions. I agree he mad some desperate moves when he was handed over the pile of sh1t we called the Canucks.
Middle years signed some UFA that were suppose to be transition players for new players to ease into then NHL. Who knew he would draft three Calder candidates to speed the process.
His last two years he has done pretty well everything everyone here asked for. I am not trying to change anyone's mind, I just have my opinion also. - VANTEL
I just think it's time for a new perspective from the GM position. |

I don't think you can buyout someone on injured reserve, or can you? At any rate, what a gross misuse of funds knowing he had concussion issues, sign him, and then buy him out a year later. |

A lot of teams screw up here. We got 2 star players in a row with EP and Hughes, and OJ is turning into a solid top 4 guys at 5. but there are as many failures in the top 10 as success. finishing 2-3-5 last in the league does not guarantee 3 core players that will be as good as we have gotten. - Retinalz
I guarantee you, Colorado and Toronto would say differently. |

It is funny that the two most aggressive fan groups calling for trade on that site are Habs fans and Flames fans . Doh

That discussion is old . He was cleared by doctors . As Brooksie on here pointed out you can't predict injuries.

The focus will shift to JB once Green is gone if that's the case. A new voice/direction/system is what the players need currently. Then move on to the GM. No way this roster is this bad. Personally...I don't think Green gives a sh!t.
you know what it's like when the Coach presents a sh!tty/no care attitude in the room. It filters into the players tuning him out. My take anyways.
I think it was Booner that predicted a new coach/GM after 7 years or so of JB/coaches. Very well may happen in the off season but I could see Green gone with another few blown games. |

Does this apply to Marky as well? Or it only applies to some players or some injuries? |

There were a lot of happy fans in Vancouver when it happened. Lesson learnt keep away from long term UFAs

Most general managers want their own coach so hiring a new coach and then firing the GM would be counterproductive from a financial standpoint in my opinion. I think you make wholesale changes, get a president, general manager and a new coach but make sure the top guy has his own picks in place. |

Not disagreeing, but hiring a guy like Doug Jarvis to complete this season shouldn't be out of the question, then go from there. Doug is 65 and was a coach with Canucks a couple years back.
Just throwing out temporary option.
Plus Doug was a fine defensive player, something this team badly needs instilled in them. |

Defense? How about ken Hitchcock? He can be interim coach and gm. Two birds. |

van is the only team that has had to deal with covid and a bad schedule.
the results from this season don't really matter due to covid, schedule etc. the results from the playoff thingy matter though. - RealityChecker
