He’s a great player, his production up to this year is second only to McDavid from the 2015 draft. It just so happens he hates playing in Buffalo for inept management and coaches and it’s starting to show after five and a half years.

There is one player taken after him, who is at a ppg and 4 or 5 others that have similar ppg as him.
Classifying him as a great player is like saying Sutter is a good 3lc.
