Was just going to post this - opening scene of Apocalypse Now with The End even though I’m not a huge Doors fan. Really sets the tone.

To this day people still hum Wagner in some personal battle situations.

He had to make the ordinary saves look extraordinary, because he didn't actually make any extraordinary saves.

What I really liked about the OT winner was Nylander looked off Matthews and went top shelf.. That was a fantastic goal..

As much as you need the dirty, ugly goals you also need game breakers and Willy was that last night..

Definitely, made up for that defensive gaffe on the Mangiapane goal

Need to take more points in the Edmonton series than they get.

Same for the three against Winnipeg coming up.

We do that, and I'm happy.

Someone in the previous thread was saying "we need to lock down a playoff spot."

Yeah, we've already done that.

I like the Leafs.

But Edmonton and Winnipeg are good teams... well Edmonton has 2 really good players and Winnipeg is a good team.

It will be edge of seat action watching Leafs play them and seeing if the Leafs can bring it every night.

But tbh if they play with the energy that they played with last night, they should steamroll Edmonton's defense.

I want the Leafs to finish 1st in the North, mostly for bragging rights.

They need to show continual growth in their game. They can't show fragility like they did vs Ottawa, and they have to close out games. They haven't been doing a bad job of it so far, but theres always room for improvement. They're dealing with pretty significant injuries with Freddy and Campbell being out, so its nice to see that they can win without them.

Keefe didnt seem all that impressed with the past couple games, he seems annoyed. He knows what the issues are and seems frustrated with the lack of progress with some players.

Keefe said he's been dealing with an injured wrist all season.. So, who knows how bad it is.. That fall into the boards probably didn't help either

Is she getting the low down on Thornton?

What's his status other than being day-to-day?

Has Roger explained how the Leafs almost lost two games in a row because of Freddy, yet?

Seems like he can't shoot. He's not ripping them on the pp. Saw him flub a garbage shot last night. Doesn't look great. The team should still be dangerous without him though, I guess that's what got me about the first Calgary game. Shouldn't get shut out just because AM can't score. Nice to see a goal with the empty net last night!

The Roeper Doeper is currently memorizing each player contract on the Islanders.

That's a very polite way of saying shoved from behind into the boards.

Willy got a couple goals after being the reason Calgary scored to almost win the game

Keefe wasnt thrilled with him after the game.

Willy is going to score, its what he does without the puck thats an issue.
