I need to remove this site from my reflexive searches. I remember when Eklund would post blogs with 4,5,6 players of 'rumours'. Now it's just just trash. Actually, this is my moment. Take care all!

Treliving did little In the offseason to Improve the Flames he failed at his job so to Improve his team he wants to trade on of his biggest assets? Wow! This team Is already thin on offense.

This could be an interesting move for the Blues, with their flagging PP and injury bug.

So Chicago's name got pulled from the "interested teams" bucket this time around.

Not sure what the Hawks would send back and I'm even more unsure on how he would fit in from a salary standpoint.

The Hawks already have an undersized, scoring LW in DeBrincat getting paid $6mm+ and he's much younger then Johnny.

Good for a chuckle though.

There's no chance he's getting moved in season and probably not getting moved ever.

Every rumour that he doesn't like it in Calgary and wants to play in the East originates from Eric Francis, and he's been writing articles about Gaudreau not wanting to be in Calgary since before he signed.

He's never going to sign in Calgary. He's never going to sign long term in Calgary. He's never going to resign in Calgary. He's been wrong every time. If Gaudreau didn't want to be in Calgary, he'd be gone by now.

BIG difference this time is JG has all the power after next year and the longer Calgary waits the less leverage Calgary has. Either you think you can win this year or you risk pulling a Jay Feaster. If a hockey trade exists in the pandemic NHL, JG will be gone!

I watched the game last night against the Sens and I thought JG played a pretty soft game, He stayed on the outside and really did not engage that much in the play. Was that just an off night for him?

What expectations would the Flames have in regard to a possible trade return?

I'm with you. Eric Francis is the gossip columnist of the sports world. Throws a thousand pieces of bologna at the wall and the one that maybe sticks, "you see I told you. Just as I was saying."

As a human though, Eric Francis is top notch. I Just don't like his journalistic opinion columns.

Francis is a POS but that’s all we can agree on. Jenny is as good as gone. Likely this summer offseason. But it will happen.

No. NO!!!!!! Blues need playoff performers. Once healthy Blues will be back.

Tarasenko, Schwartz, Thomas, Bozak, Barbashev, Parayko, Gunnarsson, all injured. That’s 4 of the top 9 injured and your best defenseman injured and a 4-6 defenseman done for the year.

Any team with that amount of injuries will have a tough stretch.

Maybe if they don't figure things out this year. If this year goes alright, there's no reason the Flames wouldn't be willing to pay Gaudreau what he's worth, and if the Flames are willing to pay Gaudreau, there's no reason he wouldn't resign.

You don't commit to Markstrom for six years if the plan is to trade away your best player after a year.

Gaudreau signed for $6.8 when others signed for $8m/year..
Treliving gloated to the media after he signed Brodie to a cheap deal, and literally said they signed him at a great price, I think that's why he left for TO

Players remember things like that. I think that's why Mangiapane was playing hard ball - on the surface it seemed odd. Then you consider Gaudreau's comments early this season about being apart from Monahan "longer than expected" last season, and he's got enough reasons to be disgruntled.

Problem is Wee Johnny's a known commodity and GM's aren't going to spend much on a guy with that low a give a frank level. Treliving's job is hanging by a skate lace and he can't afford to settle for moving him for anything less than an overpay. it will be resolved by his successor I'm sure.

That's how he handicaps the team. It's 5v4 in the defensive zone with him. He always stands by the top of the faceoff circle and just looks around. I also think Bennett hates Monahan/Gaudreau, and for the past few games it looks like Bennett refuses to fight in the corners and waits for a pass from Gaudreau. Gaudreau used to fake guys out with his tight turns, but that got figured out, then early this season they were dishing 1 time passes from behind the net, those lanes got shut down by teams, so he's got to figure something else out

I just HOPE someday to have both Tkachuk’s wearing their hometown Bluenote Crest! If both go to free agency you know the Blues will try for it.

Ek do you think Johnny Gaudreau and Barclay Goodrow are related?
