I could live with a Korpi for RNH trade. I think JK would want a sign and trade deal though. JK should be going after a C with one of the goalies. Elvis has more upside but seems a bit injury prone. Korpi is what you a see, a solid Goalie that will pretty much give you chance every night to win. I think Korpi has reached his ceiling though.

I'm also assuming one of Korpi/Elvis will need to be exposed for the Seattle expansion but that was conveniently left out while mentioning RNH's pending UFA status.

Finally!

Last night was the first night all season I saw the CBJ play the way they have in past seasons. Maybe there is hope after all, or maybe I am trying to find a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow next to a unicorn.

But last night was a whole lot better than the garbage they have spewing out all year. Everybody played well, and everyone was engaged, even Laine.

I think RNH is worth more than the goaler... Which everyone else has already chimed in about.

I'll just say that you're right. Torts should maximize the assets he has in terms of style.

Laine FOR SURE doesn't fit Into the style of play that Tortorella wants from his players so that being said why would Kekalainen trade for him and there's a good chance the Jackets loose Laine for nothing.
