It’s Rinne and you should know that since he owns you. Cane has been a much better player since he grew up, curtailed the drinking and assaulting cabbies, women. Rhine? Sheesh
- VopatsRash
Yes sir he owns us, except when it counts. I recall a choke job in 2010 playoffs, you know on our way to a cup, sorry I keep forgetting you don’t know what that is. |

True, but what Vinnie gives the bottom 6 is something Wallmark, Carpenter, Kampf, Highmore can not, and that is the ability to make a play in the offensive zone. - LAHawk
I dont disagree but my point is lets see him do it the remainder of this year AND next year (if hes with the Hawks)......at some point he has to check his ego and accept where he slots in the NHL IF he wants to continue playing. Being an effective 7-9 depth scoring forward, that doesn't kill you defensively would be great. Hope it works out. |

Seeing him post here is great. Miss those old Canuck battles with that group as well.....
I wonder if he typed that post this morning in his Kyle Turris sweater? |

I hear what you are saying, unfortunately a bad habit with this team is forcing passes, there was 2 guys praying Cat would make that pass out to Bo and he did. The right play and this goes for so many Hawks in the offensive zone, if you have no play just throw it along the boards behind the goalie. - BetweenTheDots
Though it does only seem to happen on PP in the first five minutes of the 3rd period.
Twice is a coincidence (actually I don't believe in coincidences), but 3 times is a pattern. Wasn't that the 3rd time last night? |

[quote=jhawk59]Strange as playoff hockey sounds again the Blackhawks are in a position to win the fourth spot over Dallas and Columbus. Nashville, however, may actually be the strongest competitor to gain entry to the post season should Chicago stumble in the final month of the regular season
We just saw Nashville. Their coach had them playing tough defense. Saros could lead them into the playoffs, not Rhine. The Preds do more things right than Chicago and is the better team right now. They have some Injured players but so what, they are playing better than us - they could get that last spot.

He looked good but lets hold off holding a parade for him until it's consistently done. Human nature to have a chip on your shoulder and bust tail for the remainder of the season. Another level to bring it every night.
He did look very good. Very fast and even saw him bust ass on a back check in the 3rd period. - SteveRain
Think we can all agree he's better than Highmore or Wallmark. He was traded for nothing (apologies to the obscure Morrison).
I think it should be looked at as, Hawks improved, for nothing. Simple as that. |

Dallas has 25 games in 30 days. They are going to be gassed. Columbus runs hot and cold. Laine isn't helping enough. Torts isn't going to get this group running on high octane IMHO
We just saw Nashville. Their coach had them playing tough defense. Saros could lead them into the playoffs, not Rhine. The Preds do more things right than Chicago and is the better team right now. The Blackhawks could really benefit if Keith and Kane, two veterans who have been there, would lead the charge. It helps that Kalynuk (not Mitchell) is earning a job. Now if Colliton can get the breakout
AND stop players stop looking to do the stretch pass so frequently, then I like our chance better to make the post season
There are other things the team needs to correct but if they improve in the aforementioned, then they have a better opportunity to win. - jhawk59
That's the understatement of the year. Laine has 1 goal in his last 17 games or something. |

Wow...still hanging around here since nobody really cares about the Preds. Are you enjoying your participation banners? With all that owning Rinne did of the Hawks, remind us of how many cups he led the Preds to? |

I think the state has some ownership in the Hogs, iirc. Attendance at the UC would also involve Ms. Lightfoot. - mohel
I’m not sure about state ownership, but the state will be paying for all / part of the upgrades to the Hogs’ arena.
I would think any announcement about fans at the UC would be made in Chicago. |

Vinnie has always worked hard, that has never been his issue. He is also a pretty smart player in terms of his hockey sense. He knows his only chance at staying in the league is to work his butt off every single shift. |

The 2015 playoffs too. Was fun beating Trashville twice on the way to Cup glory. I like that they've clawed their way back into the playoff race where they are kind of in limbo for the TDL.
They should be selling off some pieces to start their own rebuild, but now likely can't.
It's a shame really. |

Just wait, she will announce fans back in the stands, plans will be made and mitigation efforts put in place, then after one game, she will change her mind and reverse the decision |

Ben Pope’s tweet about this:
Details of Blackhawks purchasing IceHogs:
- New 15-year lease at BMO Harris Bank Center
- $23 million renovation plan for BMO center
- $11.8 million sale price
I think the state is paying for $16 million of the renovations.
I’m impressed that the Wirtz are making this investment with so little revenue coming in for a while. |

From what I've read and heard, it is only slightly up. Obviously, the sales to consumers have skyrocketed, but restaurant sales have also plummeted.
I've spoken to many winemakers (my brother-in-law has a restaurant in central CA), and many of them have been working overtime to get their wine sold. Most of them at a notable discount as well - for retail at least.
