Eliminate Patrick and Lindblom, as they have medical issues but is it just a coincidence that all of the young players with the possible exception of Farabee have taken a step back in the same season? Now we see Farabee struggling. This includes more experienced young players such as Konecny. What they all SUCK with an S? All at the same time?

Ok, so in your previous post about all the younger players regressing, your blaming the coaching staff now? Are you turning on AV? I certainly want to see him change up his staff at a minimum.

Sure you did, multiple times. Including the famous, "all the Flyers young players are what they are" comment. In specific conversations about Farabee, when I said he has the potential to be a 35 goal 70 point player, you said you don't see it and are still on the fence.

Of course a big part of it is on the coaching staff. Why wouldn't it be. I'm not turning on AV. I've been leveling criticism on him for a while now. It is deserved.

Back in 2016 Craig Button had Phil Myers rated as hockeys number 38 overall prospect. He was a fast riser, this year he's maybe not awful but certainly not great...the same can be said for Sanheim and Provorov. Why have they regressed?

Defense is hard. Especially when your forwards suck at helping out and your goaltenders can't be trusted to make a semi-difficult save.

The reason the coaches are hired is to remedy deficiencies with the roster they have. When all the trend lines are DOWN, what are they doing to reverse that?
I agree that the senior players are not Prongers, Clarkes or even Richards in style. If that is what is needed to move the needle, who would you select to fill that void?
Would retaining the coaches be wise if we can gain a ball-busting, hate-to-lose crew to man this team. How would they deal with STRONG personalities?
Many coaches fail to do that well.
Meanwhile, I'd fire the assistants. Or put them on waivers too. Their objectively viewed performance is amateurish.
