I personally just believe other teams will have better youth available and our teams veterans are more attractive. Though jvr > jake imo is more valuable to an expansion franchise. 2 years left with a low actual salary.

What is the reason that our veterans are more attractive? Do you even know which veterans will be exposed by other teams?

I can’t see them beating anyone they play in the semis. Imagine if it’s Tampa or the isles who can play gritty. Destroyed. Right now they are in a division that likes to play the run and gun game but very little hitting and defence. Leafs excel at that.

I even think that Winnipeg might be able to beat them in a 7 game series where the intensity is jacked up. That’s the only team with any chance to do it imo. Pathetic division and the nhl should be embarrassed they are going to hand out awards as normal.

Toronto has to prove it in the playoffs but they're a legitimate top team in my opinion.
