If you're Kevyn, which would you rather have if you had to decrease your trade return
A) the 2021-1st round pick
B) "A"-prospect
C) 2021-2nd and B-prospect

I'm not a big fan of RAPM charts to describe a player's overall ability and usefulness. I feel they're as primitive as a hammer. But they do help, and what they show does surprisingly show up on the ice.

Hall's box score stats are poor, primarily his goal scoring. But what he does is use his speed and puck skill to generate chances in the offensive zone. He is definitely creating opportunity, and that's evident almost every game.

This is reflected on his charts.

hall did a whole lotta a chopping but no chips were flyin', like i remember tyler ennis doing...a lot of max-type turnovers and girgesons-like falls...

totally unexpected and a huge disappointment

I won't totally argue this. Face value, Hall has been a huge disappointment. But at the very least, he drives offense in a positive way when he's on the ice. Rather, he's outperforming his competition.

It's hard to determine what a fully healthy Eichel would do for him. He's got Skinneritis.

Casey's game has been rounding out since the beginning of the season, but now he's finally getting the offensive opportunity, and finally cashing in. Tage, Asplund are interesting. Turning into cheap, useful depth. We spent a high resource on Mittelschool, he needs to become useful. Same with Tage.

But still, F you Ralph.

SO we have 17 Million dollars worth of wingers who "drive offense" but are pretty much invisible, and don't actually provide any offense.

Fantastic.

I know people have floated out the idea of trading Hall for Debrusk and a pick. I'd be happy if it was just Debrusk.

Wingers are irrelevant

Sans for like the 5% of the wingers in the league that drive play on their own.

Not sure how reputable.

Hearing that the Toronto Maple Leafs are working on a deal with the Buffalo Sabres. Headed to the Leafs from Buffalo would be Taylor Hall and Linus Ullmark. Toronto names involved include Frederik Andersen, Rasmus Sandin, Nick Robertson and a prospect. This is subject to changes.

From a buffalo perspective, makes sense acquiring another rasmus.

All 3 did score in the game the other day. 🤔

So Adams is just going to break the spirit of this team and its fanbase and trade the starting goalie so we can watch the Dustin Tokarski Experience the rest of the way.

I wouldn’t say regress but ...... my buddy who is a Bruins fan says debrusk doesn’t hit anymore, doesn’t go into the dirty areas, and is a perimeter player right now.
