Hearing that the Toronto Maple Leafs are working on a deal with the Buffalo Sabres. Headed to the Leafs from Buffalo would be Taylor Hall and Linus Ullmark. Toronto names involved include Frederik Andersen, Rasmus Sandin, Nick Robertson and a prospect. This is subject to changes.

Absurd. That will never happen. They don't have close to that value. Both are UFAs.

Doubt Robertson is included in a rental pick up. Maybe Sandin, even a first. I would think the Leafs are more likely to go for a big d-man like Savard rather than Hall. But if the NJ-NYI set the price, Isles got two good players for a very late 1st rounder and a bag of farts (plus NJ ate 50%$)

Taylor Hall isn't even worth a 1st rounder at this point. Forget about 1st overall and the Hart trophy, in 2021 he's playing crappy, is UFA and has a massive cap hit.

Hall (50% retained) and Ullmark is worth a 1st rd pick and a couple of B-level prospects.
I would do it..

Hall and Ullmark for Hutchinson, Barabanov a 1st rd pick, Adam Brooks and Mac Hollowell

Hyman-Matthews-Marner
Hall-Tavares-Nylander
Galchy-Kerfoot-Mikheyev
Simmonds/Thornton-Engvall-Spezza

Damien Cox did have a good idea. He's calling on the media to name the refs making these horrible calls. It's been accepted far too much in the NHL. They are making calls based on the score.
